Unfortunately on ly a few charities and homeless only so mums on the bread line (literally) have to provide their own and new mums when in hospital giving birth too :(

If new mums don't take these, the hospital will provide them (although eyebrows maybe raised).

Not true in my area, my cousins daughter was told to call someone and get them to bring some in as they don't hold stock-only the ones in the delivery packs :( x

    Hi All.

I take it from the lack of responses to my post the other day, that either nobody has heard of the below, or they are to be avoided.

Hello Wendy, lovely to see you. Hope you and DH are getting on nicely and feeling better xx

I know, it must be so hard on poorer families having to pay for sanitary ware. You'd think that there would be something the government could or would bring in to ease the burden.

I was reading in a magazine last week or week before about washable pads. It appears that they actually make ones cycle lighter and shorter. This could be because manufactured products are covered in chemicals  I think if we're still in need I'd try these out, but I digress.

I did actually buy a massive amount of sanitary products from Mr T last year when they were selling them off, may have been changing packaging. Anyway, I took these all down to food bank , they were staggered at the amount I had but they were literally pennies a pack, just the value ones though.

Right I have to hold walkies with the dogs.

Wendy, if you have time. Pm would be nice, let me know how you are sweetheart xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

This reminded of me of a time many many years ago when I did social/market research. I had to ask ladies in Byker what type of sanitary protection they used.
One lady replied "Eh, pet, I always use Domestos" ..
