Not sure if national, or specific to the asda store I have just been in (superstore) but they were selling 40 pack box of Walkers (10 c&o, 10 s&v, 10 ready salted and 10 prawn cocktail) for £2 a box. Dated 29th April.

Must be national as DH brought one home 10 minutes ago :T

I rather liked BH's explanation, and will definitely be putting cheap bottles in which I had never done before as I felt that due to the bulk and unhealthy nature of the product was not very good to donate. I tend to donate the glitches and sanitary wear for ladies (these are always needed). I wished I had got nappies last night for the food banks.

Every penny helps the food banks, which are so sadly needed.
Well done. Just a quick pointer regarding sanitary items. I asked about donating them a while ago and was told that GPs and health centres give them out for free, like condoms. That's the case in Scotland anyway. Could someone check for the rest of the UK please? Ant easter egg glitches will be donated direct to foodbank as they are light and easily damaged. in fact any that are cheap and my sharpies can pay for

Yes they were in my A yesterday.

I got mine at T a couple of weeks ago - same price.

I think the Elite could start their own foodbank somewhere near the border. I'm sure it would always be well stocked. :)

I have never heard of sanitary wear being given out by GP and health centres. I've just spoken to a health visitor and asked her, she is not aware of this but she is linked to a hospital rather than a GP. I will make some more enquiries as this will be helpful to know x

On the subject of free sanitary products. England are not free from GPS here but I do know there are several Charities that hand them out to the homeless xx

Thanks I had thought I had missed a trick with this... I have spent a fortune over the years getting these for ladies.

Obs. condoms are available for free from family planning/sexual health clinics...
