I need a thump on the back of the head!

For sharpie shops I have been using Price Smart items for foodbank.
TOTALLY forgot about !!!!!! 20% bonus to foodbank donations, for Trussell trust it is compared by weight, I should have got SP heavy cans etc so as to maximise !!!!!! comparison. Will try to remember.
    Stores with pernament collections here
    https://www.tesco.com/store-locator/uk/?xmlSearchfile=food-collection.xml&targetText=Food%20collection%20stores

I have done it in the past donating food from other stores, it is allowed. As the saying goes (sort of) killing 2 big fat birds with one stone :D
best buys per kg seem to be spagetttttiiii, rice pudding, veg.

Evil thoughts now... in a good cause....
From !!!!!! guide to top up:
The top-up is calculated using an average valuation of £1.68/kg for all food donated.
In donations, fruit juice and milk are classed as food......
so SP Lemonade & coke at 17p each for 2 litres, 2 litres of water is 2kg. one bottle is 2kg, sooooooooo £3.36 top up per bottle??

Going to ask my local foodbank about more details of !!!!!! top up, just want to make sure there are no get outs, will update later.

Please correct any (probably a lot) errors

This is very interesting, I knew they topped up but I didn't know the calculation. As you say if they always the cheap 17p bottles of water even better.
I put my postcode into that link and it gave me my 10 nearest stores but not the local store I actually use which is odd

I wonder if they weigh everything actually in Mr !!!!!! before it goes off to the warehouses

My collection point has a list on the side of the normal requirements yet on Saturday someone had put a pack of 6 bread rolls in ....

The mikado is free on shoppymum. £1.39 is the rrp but they refund up to £1.67

As I hadn't ever gone beyond Rrp with them I was playing it safe :).

It goes to show S don't observe rrps.

Just checked and the receipt I resubmitted with 9 bottles on is s now showing as declined, receipt already submitted so I am going back to store .... not even showing on Q this morning ....
I did put a support message on but I had no response :(
And another support message I put in on the 25th is still waiting for a response.
