    Good morning all....

A gentle hug to mhoc....I always think childrens birthdays are special to their mums(afterall we had a big part to play in the actual event)....so even though you can't celebrate in the style you would like with a visit and exchange of gifts...at least take a moment to celebrate the fact ...once you've done your sorting out....a cup of tea and a cake might be in order x

The weekend for me started last night.....DS is home...arriving much later than anticipated because of very slow traffic... still asleep this morning after being fed last night....and needing taking back on Sunday....but for at least tomorrow we can spoil him!

    Have a lovely day all.x

To Quote Edina form Ab Fab

'Yes and I gave you that Birthday Sweetie'.

Sons can be a strange species at times. I adopt an open door approach to ds1 as I know if he needs important advice he will come to me but rarely texts or answers his phone.
Yes he is incredibly busy but he does have a chip on his shoulder that I don't see dgs much. This is only because they never visit and I never get an invitation. Since he split with dgs's mother it has become even harder.
I did get to see ds1 in January when I was visiting ds2 and it was his choice to see me. Unfortunately it was not his weekend with dgs so I missed out. BUT had ds1 answered his phone I could have arranged my visit to coincide with him having his son.

No they don't make things easy at times:mad:

    Evening paw sniffers:D

I've been out for tea AGAIN:rotfl:

Ventured out to TableTable and got 2 lasagne and chips and Red Thai curry with rice and crackers for just over £12 using the 50% off code which they emailed to me.
Our waitress was spoken to really rudely by a couple who were annoyed that she had brought their wine in the wrong type of glass :eek:They went on and on and on about it. I had to restrain myself from being rude in return. Let's face it...it's a pub franchise not a 5 star restaurant.

I made a point of tipping the young girl and telling her very loudly what good service she had provided.

She forgot to load our loyalty points on. You only need 500points to get a free meal for 2 and only need to spend £100 to get 500 points. I'm saying only ....but it's virtually after every 5 visits that you get a free meal:)
