Unfortunately it sometimes comes down to how desperate you are to get the bond back.....students in particular often need it to secure their next property. The unscrupulous agent would "try it on" for a small percentage knowing the student is happy to write off £30 for example to get £500 back. Even if the property is left in a better state than it was initially rented, they will still find something to pick at.

Sorry to bump myself but update is....

I have this morning phoned all4one who have said that all three of my cards have a ZERO BALANCE:eek: :mad::mad:. The £10 on each has not been loaded .. now I'm sure that these had a balance to start with.

They are getting head office to phone me on Monday :mad:

Errant son has asked for our national insurance numbers this morning - something to do with his driving license.
He has a driving license already so I don't know why DVLA would want this. I am assuming that he has us on his insurance as 2nd and 3rd named drivers but he already has our driving license numbers etc.

Does anyone know what this is about? Yes I have tried asking but he is not replying now, its the usual thing, we only get messages from him if he wants something.
I message him a few times a month but I get no replies and then we get the odd message from him.

I work for a Van hire co and when people hire vans we see their driving licence and ask for their NI number. Its a double check to see if they are who they say they are. So possibly thats why he needs it.

Similar with mine. They haven't been activated by Viking so all show zero balances. Of course Viking are not available until monday!

If you look at the reviews it says:

Money is not loaded onto card immediately but a few days after receipt of card
