It says congratulations and 2 codes are in the middle of the email:)

Thanks nerfy... I think I have been ignoring my cinema tickets!

I do want to go and see Ab Fab, but it will have to wait a little while as I am in the middle of nowhere at the moment, and when I get home it is shower, change, drive again to a wedding... I think I will need a weeks holiday to recover!

One for the bird watchers. Could it be a woodpecker? It has a less colourful mate and pulls my flower beds to pieces!

Yes silvercar, it's a green woodpecker.

on the subject of men's underwear OH has been complaining for a long time about the state of his underwear collection so eventually I relented and I got 2 sets in the marks sale for £10, ordered online.
I said to OH when I ordered that I got them on the strict understanding that he was to clean out and tidy his 2 sock and underwear drawers properly and every single one of his old collection was to be bagged up for the charity cloth recycling bin.
if not I would have no qualms about returning and refunding
so on Tuesday I collected them
OH made a start on his drawers after a false start when he claimed my stuff was in them so he couldn't tidy them out - it wasn't.
After half an hour and a few trips to the bin he said he was done. I asked if it was up to standard but it wasn't - he had not actually emptied the drawers out just taken things off the top so at the back was still 20 years of fluff and dust and whatever
    so he made another attempt.
I showed him where bags were kept so he could put his old ones in and also insisted anything he had hung on the dryer in the porch was also bagged up.
he then got his sets of new underwear which he complained about as I'd got Xxl size. I said he would grown into them which he will do with his consumption of biscuits and pork pies and anything high fat and high sugar etc.
then yesterday as we were setting off for the station I noticed with horror what he had done with his old underwear - yes he had bagged them up and put the bag in the porch in readiness but there were so many that he had put an equal amount of greying, sagging mass on the top of the bag - I'd forgotten to tell him that he might need 2 bags and to show him where the bags were kept for a 2nd time
I said do you really want to shame me - all sorts of people come in and out of the porch - the Amazon van man, the postie, the window cleaners, weekend visitors ...

so now we have to do the recycling this afternoon and hope no one comes visiting in the meantime :rotfl:
