Well done TM on your whoopsies. I got lucky tonight 2 x quorn sausages 10p each and lots of other 'dinner' things for that price too! There were 20 black puddings (also 10p) on the counter. The sa said they were a special for valentines. Our last whoopsies are now really late so it is an effort to turn out in the winter but really worth it as there are not so many people about as there are on a sunday in our local. Our sa also discusses how much they have lost on certain items which I find quite interesting!

Well done HG and Sweetnsavy on doing your pension. I have a few other things to add but am too tired tonight and haven't checked the rest of MSE yet which I like to do before I got to bed - sad I know!
I picked up the black puddings and put them back. I need to be selective even at 10p a shot or we would just end up eating out of date food constantly. If it doesn't freeze I tend not to get too much these days. There's plenty to go round:)

Maybe mhoc could jump on a train too .

Quite possible, I am very mobile.

I have very severe itchy feet, my offspring have to take some blame with their constant travel plans.
2 weeks after we came back from hols we had a York weekend.
Then instead of doing something constructive this afternoon I was looking at hotels in Edinburgh trying to figure out how to squeeze a weekend in, possibly in early March and if and how it was possible to get to the botanical gardens. Also figuring out how I could justify a couple of weeks away in April ....

And well done 4lbs is great , I'm lucky in a way as I do quite a physical job but did say if I change jobs I will have to join a gym as I use work as my exercise :)

Sarah well done to D's for passing his theory and glad the lesson went well. Xx

My ds3 is looking into doing his lorry licence. As he is more likely to get a contract at work if he can drive the wagons . though today he thought he was in trouble as he opened door and the wind caught it and the glass shattered. Driver phone the boss but he was lovely more concerned that he was OK. and said it happens a lot. X
