My son needs his Degree attesting/ Notarising to apply for a Z Visa to return to China (always the plan but the uni he worked for failed to renew his work permit in time) so he now has to start from scratch and the rules have changed to include having his Degree attested then stamped at the Consulate.
We're not sure who is allowed to do this even after googling! The banks notarise things for free if your a member but it seems they are not the right people! He had a quote from a Lawyer for £200  Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas, please?
DH and I had to have our birth certificates and a certificate of no impediment legalised and apositlled at the foreign and common wealth office, so that we could get married in Aruba.
It cost us a fair few hundred pounds (£80 for each document so £360) on top of the other costs associated with it.0 -

Good afternoon back home now after getting soaking wet on my walk home from the station :(I had a bitter sweet appointment with my Clinician Nurse she put my mind at rest on lots of things that were worrying me since my last appointment and really has become more of a friend and makes me feel so at ease in her company ...we even had a little chat about the result of the EU Referendum;)...then she delivered the bad news she has resigned and that will be the last time I see her:(:(feeling sad ..

Aw Nanny, that's sad about your nurse.
But hope you like the next one just as much.
Is it 6 months till you have to go again? xx“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
nictrinwyn wrote: »Morning all, I have a quick question about the baby jars in A's..can I just buy any 10? I've never needed them in the past, but now that I have a 2 month old I think I might get a few. TIA
Afternoon luvlies
So pleased savvy has made contact with you elliemoo, he will come back in his own time, I'm sure
Don't think anyone has answered the baby food question yet. You need to buy 12 of the same flavour, or 11 + one other flavour, not just 12 random flavours, plus your fillers.
Make sure that the flavour you are comparing against is in the 10 for £5 deal in M and T, check online. Some of the flavours I was previously buying have moved into T deal of 12 for £6 so this is a no go. From experience, don't rely on the multi being picked up in M, I buy ones which are on the multi in both T and M just to be sure.
Anymore questions please shout:happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -
Good morning (just)
Had a busy morning, dd2 has managed to get a place at the hospital school due to her anxiety issues and we had a visit from them this morning to discuss her needs. So happy that it is getting sorted as at 13 her world should be expanding, instead it is shrinking to these four walls
She starts in September, we are visiting the school on Monday so she can get an idea of what it will be like. Took just over a year but we're getting there
Had to book bouncy Brewster in at the dogsitters so we could chat properly, Brewster likes to try to sit on visitors shoulders and lick them to death, he is not a small dog! He can open doors so no shutting him in or out and he has a cage but barks constantly if he is locked in it :rotfl:
Did a massive clean up this morning which consisted of wiping cat paw prints off the cabinet, dog nose marks off the window and ridding the house of the ever present layer of dog hair (every time I hoover the dog rolls around the flloor)
Now we have calm.....for a few hours :T
Oh bless, hope your daughter gets sorted.
How funny your dog, is like that, mine can be sometimes, depends who it is :rotfl::rotfl:I know lots of posters are very concerned about Savvy, I'm not speaking out of turn or staying anything without his consent.
He sent me a PM last night and he is aware the thread is back running again, he is also aware of the other place, but hasn't signed up to it yet.
As most of us surmised he is upset by the closing of the thread, it has had an impact on him and at present he is not ready to come back to post.
I wont go into the detail of what he said but I think that after a break he will check back in.
Thanks for letting us know, savvy will come back as and when he is ready.0 -
