I know lots of posters are very concerned about Savvy, I'm not speaking out of turn or staying anything without his consent.

He sent me a PM last night and he is aware the thread is back running again, he is also aware of the other place, but hasn't signed up to it yet.

As most of us surmised he is upset by the closing of the thread, it has had an impact on him and at present he is not ready to come back to post.

I wont go into the detail of what he said but I think that after a break he will check back in.

Keep your pecker up Savvy, nil desperandum and all that jazz.

    Good afternoon Elite :hello:

Well, the rain hasn't reached me yet :j so I managed to get out and go what I needed to and get home in sunshine.

Collected my Bath Mat set from Argos, thanks OP, can't remember who it was now :o. For the princely sum of £3.49 it ain't bad at all, another white one to add to my current sets.

For once I didn't venture into Mr A as my shopping bag was full from high street shopping. Don't get excited folks, my high street is very small to what most of you are used to :rotfl: we mainly have estate agents, charity shop and building societies/banks. Oh, almost forgot the fast food outlets of kebabs, all 3 of them and a Greggs.

DH wasn't very impressed that I took so long as he was waiting to be picked up with some garden bits :eek: trouble was my lower legs and feet had puffed up so I stopped in the local coffee shop for rest and refreshment. Is it my fault that he doesn't take his mobile out with him? I don't think so

I must get something to eat, I wasn't going to pay a fancy price for a sandwich when I was heading home and the ingredients are here already paid for :T :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Ellie thank you so much for letting us know that dear Savvy is aware that we are back. I can well understand that he would be upset and more, the impact must have been immense. I think it best now not to hound him but just give him a wave and a hello.

I don't mean that directed at you Ellie but all of us :o. I was just worried that he wouldn't know where we are :)

Savvy, :hello: keep popping in for a read and when you are able come have a chat, I for one miss you and your posts xx

Thanks bubbs, she's doing well thanks. She's just learned how to frown and is coming out with the most comical expressions at the moment (though we're not to laugh :rotfl:)

Had an email from C&G with a 30p coupon for 'super yummies'. The rice cakes are reduced to 50p in A at the moment :)

Afternoon, hope you don't mind me asking a question. My son needs his Degree attesting/ Notarising to apply for a Z Visa to return to China (always the plan but the uni he worked for failed to renew his work permit in time) so he now has to start from scratch and the rules have changed to include having his Degree attested then stamped at the Consulate.
We're not sure who is allowed to do this even after googling! The banks notarise things for free if your a member but it seems they are not the right people! He had a quote from a Lawyer for £200  Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas, please? :)
