    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    And lunch:D

Ham hock and Wensleydale pie in puff pastry with homemade chips and garden peas:)

    Delicious

The good thing is that we must have used £20 worth of diesel getting there and back:cool: ( Helping DS move house)

Beautiful sunny day and quiet roads but the A19 was closed at Thirsk.

There must have been a terrible accident:( We were stationary for nearly an hour) But kept amused by the girls in the coach in front running back along the dual carriageway to a narrow lane behind us.....no idea why they were in the bushes......but maybe it had something to do with their hen party sashes and the probability of mucho alcohol consumed.:rotfl:
Most of them were in hot pants and sky high shoes which were extremely muddy when they ran back past us:rotfl:

I can't imagine the scene had the traffic started moving :rotfl:

We had just started to relax as we joined the M1, when we were met with overhead warning signs declaring "Slow down. Animals on the road." I was expecting Jumanji:eek:

Fortunately not and we arrived in one piece:)

Decided to have a chilling day in town, as I don’t have a car for transport at the moment, so no way to get involved in the buzzzzy beees looking for honey.
Instead I went into town, went into Mr Shoes, 6 shamboo £4.50 spent, 600 points.
Then a free El Colonel coffee, serviettes, straws and had a wander about.

Anyone seen the movie effect where someone is standing still and world a blur of moving peeps?
That was me today with rude muggles bumping and shrieking.

Then going to a different Booger King with my completed receipt survey Got a whopper, fries and a drink for £2.88 (still expensive for my liking lol) Wow, shows how long it has been since I have been in a modern one, self service all in one drinks machine? I was handed the soft drink cup while my food was getting ready. Well surprised, zero cal Dr Pepper! Filled cup, no ice, drank the lot, then refilled hehe. Picked up half a dozen tomato sauce sachets, same salt, a few straws and 4 serviettes, slipped into pocket. Went back as food was landing on tray and innocently asked if there was anything apart from tomato (or if you are American, tomato) sauce. RESULT 2 sweet chili dippy wipies. Also, a new receipt that will easily cut in two.
Ate leisurely interspersed with Dr Pepper flavoured belches. Felt stuffed.
Back to wandering, another Mr Shoes shop for the same.
Wandered about again, shocked at prices.
The Elite has made me so tight my @rse now speaks to dogs ultra-sonically, and sadly when they run up, one sniff, and they are off again.

Was tempted and succumbed to the call of the O2 shop and a backup android phone, a Lenovo B with £10 credit on PAYG for £59.99 . Talked myself into it rationalising that will get more Priority cheapies/freebies, sign up again to loyalty apps and get freebies, another telephone number for registering for some things.

Back to El Colonel, another coffee etc through my Nexus 7 tethered to main phone and a free side. (GONNA EXPLODE)
Mr Shoes finally for same shoppy.
So. Final reckoning, 18 shamboos costing £13.50, Booger meal £2.88, 2 fwee coffees, one side, sauce, salt & straws for summertime, plus serviette hankies (may test for emergency bog roll replacement)
Received £18.00 worth of points from Mr Shoes.

I think you may need more than 4 serviettes!

My mum always use to pocket packs of sugar, when I was a kid there was some sugar shortage.... but not in our house she had carrier bags full all over the house!!

    My second visit to S this morning yielded 2 x 200points and 2 x 1000

We did 5 x £10 fills at the petrol station but Mr TM forgot to hand over his Nectar card the first time:o Honestly:rotfl:

The cashier spotted what I was doing and declared that she did exactly the same thing yesterday. She asked if I realised that I could just keep replacing the nozzle between fills and pay in one go in the shop. Well yes....maybe if she was serving but otherwise they would probably call security:rotfl:

The Jacobs Creek Merlot tempted me to do another shop. It came to £10.26 and I handed over an Optiwell coupon. The cashier said I could go and buy something else if I wanted to take it over £10:think::think::think:

But I did spend over £10 I said.

Oh no you didn't she said and you won't get a bonus points coupon either as you are paying less than £10:think:

I told her that I did a similar shop yesterday and I definitely got a bonus coupon.

But you couldn't have, she said, as the promotion only started today

I'll call a supervisor, she said.

Please don't I replied. Just put it through and if I get one I get one:cool:;)

    "You got one" she said:rotfl:

I then had to wait another 5 minutes while we debated whether she could add several bonus point vouchers in one go. You can only do one per shop she said.

Can you just please try I asked.....:)

As we walked away MrTM commented that I should possibly get a job on the tills as I seem to know more than the cashiers:rotfl: No way I replied....not with people like me around:rotfl:

My Jacobs Creek cashback paid in seconds:T
