Decided to have a chilling day in town, as I don’t have a car for transport at the moment, so no way to get involved in the buzzzzy beees looking for honey.
Instead I went into town, went into Mr Shoes, 6 shamboo £4.50 spent, 600 points.
Then a free El Colonel coffee, serviettes, straws and had a wander about.
Anyone seen the movie effect where someone is standing still and world a blur of moving peeps?
That was me today with rude muggles bumping and shrieking.
Then going to a different Booger King with my completed receipt survey Got a whopper, fries and a drink for £2.88 (still expensive for my liking lol) Wow, shows how long it has been since I have been in a modern one, self service all in one drinks machine? I was handed the soft drink cup while my food was getting ready. Well surprised, zero cal Dr Pepper! Filled cup, no ice, drank the lot, then refilled hehe. Picked up half a dozen tomato sauce sachets, same salt, a few straws and 4 serviettes, slipped into pocket. Went back as food was landing on tray and innocently asked if there was anything apart from tomato (or if you are American, tomato) sauce. RESULT 2 sweet chili dippy wipies. Also, a new receipt that will easily cut in two.
Ate leisurely interspersed with Dr Pepper flavoured belches. Felt stuffed.
Back to wandering, another Mr Shoes shop for the same.
Wandered about again, shocked at prices.
The Elite has made me so tight my @rse now speaks to dogs ultra-sonically, and sadly when they run up, one sniff, and they are off again.
Was tempted and succumbed to the call of the O2 shop and a backup android phone, a Lenovo B with £10 credit on PAYG for £59.99 . Talked myself into it rationalising that will get more Priority cheapies/freebies, sign up again to loyalty apps and get freebies, another telephone number for registering for some things.
Back to El Colonel, another coffee etc through my Nexus 7 tethered to main phone and a free side. (GONNA EXPLODE)
Mr Shoes finally for same shoppy.
So. Final reckoning, 18 shamboos costing £13.50, Booger meal £2.88, 2 fwee coffees, one side, sauce, salt & straws for summertime, plus serviette hankies (may test for emergency bog roll replacement)
Received £18.00 worth of points from Mr Shoes.0
