I have been to Lidl and got 2 of the William Morris kettles :j - one for us and a spare as a possible gift

I also got the Lidl suddenly but its not the one I got before so it may have to be bathroom perfume :D

Also picked up my free fleece from marks - £10 off from the sparks app for jackets and my birthday fiver.

So that was about it for shopping today except for ...

Seen some lovely pyjamas for your dd wedding morning. Not exactly what you were loving for but floral traditional shape. I thought could wear pj top with a nice cami or vest underneath instead of having a dressing gown. They are divinely beautiful and as dd will spend the rest of the day in one pale colour be a lovely start to the morning. They are from Next and ref not is 732-648 if that helps.

    That is what mine said...

It is still in the fridge waiting for someone to cut into it..... it may last a while!

We are exactly half way through ours.

I had to cut a bit of mould off yesterday :rotfl:

Good morning all, rather cloudy here but quite mild.

Had a good time in the garden yesterday, cleared a lot and am now waiting for a chance to burn it off.

Glad the party went well QoC. You mentioning Fraggle Rock brought back memories, Poddington Peas was a good one too :D

I sometimes feel guilty living this close to a Lidl and an Aldi, all I have to do is walk for 5 mins and I am there  Not after another kettle though, hope you manage one Snap, but the last time I got a kettle like you (remember Wallace and Grommit) it did some rather strange things

Good Evening all, talking of Aldi and Lidl we have a new Alid just opened by the Morrisons . Probably go and have a look tomorrow .

TM please can I ask where you got the cat food voucher?
Thepearce posted it... but I cannot get past the page where you enter the details of the cat...:(:(:(:(

Thank you thepearce....yes that's the one my search failed to find and yes I remember it's a very temperamental page. It's taken me a while but I've just managed another coupon. It takes ages to find a local stockist and then submit.

    Good luck......have you managed cjj?

For what it's worth Oz loves the Outdoor cat one. I bought him some for Christmas in the Amex small shops promotion.

One day, if he's a good boy I might buy him the Siamese one as a treat:D

Hi bargainqueen:wave: I got a psychedelic kettle in Lidl. Was there at 10 and the woman was busy putting other items out. She looked a bit flummoxed lol. She said you ll have to come back later. I said I won't be coming back later at all because they will all be gone by then. She muttered something and went and opened a couple of boxes. They should have people in at 9 in my opinion to cope with this.

Big hugs for tweets and congratulations to all the ladies who got their kettles.

Cake has turned out well and is wrapped up awaiting the icing and marzipan tomorrow night.

I managed to get some meals prepared for next week. Nothing worse than coming home after a long day devoid of meal ideas:o

I'm organised up until Thursday. So it might be beans on toast Friday:rotfl:

Got a few whoopsies which will stretch the money out next week. 2 cartons of Soya milk for 10p each. Cream for 10p for the plum crumble I'm going to make tonight and most importantly eggs .....very large sized free range ones...whoopsied eggs makes me happy.

    Off to make a crumble:)
