Not too much clearing up, mostly the food left on the table which I'll chuck a cloth over tonight to keep the cat off it and deal with it in the morning
Mum coped brilliantly - her recovery so far has been so much better than any of us could have hoped for and she coped brilliantly with things tonight
That's my only gripe about big family parties. There can be waste:o The time the foods been left hanging around it's risky keeping it or reheating it and you don't like to start clearing away before people leave. Hope the chickens get a nice dinner out of it:)To do is to be. Rousseau

After a few games of kitty bingo, I got locked out, leaving £7+ still to be played through
Went on online chat and they want me to send 3 different documents in 3 different emails. Bit over the top isnt it?
I chickened out gocat and bought toilet rolls from Wilkos....£12 as net of VAT....couldn't be bothered to look what the VAT was on toilet rolls so just went with it.

We watched Fantastic beasts and where to find them last night, thoroughly enjoyed that!! Also watched Hacksaw Ridge in the week and that is absolutely brilliant well worth a watch if you like black hawk down and saving private ryan type films!
off out in a couple of mins to football...... no tea hut but the looks of things........I will be in a waspy mood in a bit lol things you have to do for the kids! will be worse next week as both boys back in full swing one this side of the county and one the other lol0 -
Good morning all, rather cloudy here but quite mild.
Had a good time in the garden yesterday, cleared a lot and am now waiting for a chance to burn it off.
Glad the party went well QoC. You mentioning Fraggle Rock brought back memories, Poddington Peas was a good one too
I sometimes feel guilty living this close to a Lidl and an Aldi, all I have to do is walk for 5 mins and I am there :eek: Not after another kettle though, hope you manage one Snap, but the last time I got a kettle like you (remember Wallace and Grommit) it did some rather strange things :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

The only thing they'd have eaten would have been cucumber sticks and they were probably one of the few things that were gone.
