I had a sneaky peek in Mr Shoes too bubbs.....plenty of the sanctury star sets and a few of the scholl diamond pedi things...but I really didnt need either so I let the lady who was working out how much she could sell them for have them.

I did find a couple of boxes of totes thick chunky mens slipper socks which I would have bought if there had been a pair in each box...but 2 different designs and only one foot in each box....the mind boggles at what happened to the other one of each pair!
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

Well, went to T to get UpnGo and it seems they haven't brand-matched because the Vanilla and Choc both scan the same, as 'drink' which brought my number of items down to 9 instead of 10.

Some you win, some you don't, hey ho...

So be careful, don't rely on different flavours of UG to make your items up to 10.

This was a Metro shop, btw, don't know if that made a difference.

CoS will help a bit here, but I've never paid so much for these before, feel a bit miffed.

Thank you - they are definitely different.

I got 8 own brand items - custard; longlife milk; yoghurt; beans; mousse; ketchup; stuffing; choc

plus 3 choc and 2 vanilla UG.

These went through as one entry x 2, plus 3 individuals, all well spaced out in the receipt. Most odd.

Shame Amazon don't sell stamps. Can't think of anything I need that I would be happy paying £40 for.

Afternoon all - you can all stop panicking now, I am back from the very sunny and snow less Canaries and Madeira :rotfl:

who is at a loose end this afternoon - tell me what I've missed - 2 weeks off line ...

So far I've looked at Nectar and nothing very exciting has happened. There seems to be a few odd new free things on Q click snap.

I tried to find the FB couponing page but he brain is too foggy and I cant find i8t.

Treacle cat is draped all over the keyboard making typing fun :rotfl:

Ok, I confess, I bought twine :o Fizz and bargain whites. The bargain whites were very new world sauvignon blanc heavy, but dont mind that. For a £98 outlay we got:

    Freixenet Cava Brut - £10
    Moet & Chandon Imperial - £32.50 :D
    Plaza Centro Prosecco - £14
    Andre Carpentier champagne - £13
Tesco Finest Premier Cru - £19
    Jacobs Creek Chardonnay fizz - £10 :(

    Manuka Bay Sauv Blanc x 2 - £20
    Mud House Sauv Blanc x 2 - £17.50
    Brancott Terroir Sauv Blanc x 2 - £26
    Hardys Chardonnay Semillon x 2 - £9.90 yuck
    Seven Seeds Sauv Blanc x 2 - £18
    Brancott Sauv Gris - £9
Manoir de Hersandiere Muscadet Sevres et Maine - £9

So a total of £207.90 for £98 spent (although I know a number of them will have been cheaper when on offer). I would have liked a bit more French and a bit less New Zealand but pretty happy overall. I hold LEJC entirely responsible of course :heart2:
