Yes I do some cashback things - will have a look at this. I am not tempted by the basics range though as Savvy will tell you it is some much more expensive than the other supermarkets' own brands. Can't bear to pay a penny more than I have too!

Perhaps we can do some elite investigations prior to the event:)

I love the way you count your pennies matty:T:T

    Well I'm pondering........

Wanted to recycle all the Xmas wrapping paper and read that you should remove the sellotape, which I did.

But then read that can't recycle laminated or glittery, so that had to be separated. Difficult to decide with some, but did my best.

Then read that some wrapping paper doesn't have enough fibres to recycle - presume that means the cheapie stuff I use.

So, is it better to try to recycle but maybe put some wrong stuff in or is it better just to put it all in general rubbish bin??

I tried to do my best to separate the shiny stuff and only put in what I thought could be recycled but thought I had read I didn't need to take off the sellotape. :o Oops!

I have heard different stories on "contamination", some authorities say the whole load is no good others that it is sorted anyway. We only have the one recycling bin so I think ours gets sorted anyway, so I guess stuff gets rejected at that point. But I know other authorities have particular bins/bags for each type of recycling.

Yes they only have a little bit of fizz in them. I could get hooked on them quite easily so will have to share them out elsewhere quick.
