Just been to Sains. Got charged 3p extra for some water:( to make up the £5 - however at least it was with the free points:). Of course, now I have no Nectar points, they want me to spend real money next time for some 'money off' - well, it's not happening!:p

    They are so expensive:

Sainsbury's Basics Milk Chocolate Bar (100g)

      30p
Actually, surprisingly, they are cheaper on [Strike]Basics Crumpets - 35p - probably until they notice that - and of course whoospies elsewhere could be got cheaper than regular packs at S[/Strike] - and Basics Stuffing is still 15p. So it's not everything by any means that's more expensive - but probably just nearly is.

EDIT: Whoops, no they are not - they were 35p but are now 40p (on the Crumpets) so are more expensive than M! So, they have noticed:(. (I don't think T/A have theirs anymore so would maybe have to pay more there due to not able to get 'value'-range versions anymore - except even branded whoopsies on the day of expiry could be cheaper from time to time.)

Sains. are having a "sale" on some items, at least in my store, obviously no stock of any of these here (way too late in the day as usual:( and no use to anyone I would imagine:rotfl:). They include several frozen food items:

    Sains 2 Chicken Slices 320g 38p
Aunt Bessie's Mini Toad in the Hole 240g 35p (loads of stock of lower weight 190g version at regular price £1.40!:().
Quorn Low Fat Sausages (300g) 50p
Brain Faggot's 25p (however it is only a two pack)

Elsewhere they have some Sains. Bloomsbury Purple Honeycombs 3 pack at 9p (obviously no chance of anyone finding any of those:rotfl:). Also a Calendar at 50p (no need to bother with that).

The boots sale thread has been locked, as they are all arguing over there.

I love a good argument, no not really:(. But, from aside, detached, away from it all...:D I hope we never have that here. I'm more often amazed at the sorts of things - very petty minor indeed (except when they become the source of an argument they are blown up, are made major and are not minor) - that people get into arguments about - the sorts of things, and emotional baggage in particular, that would never be relevant to or of concern to an Aspie such as me. Instead I just let others walk all over me:o, as I continue to deal with them neutrally as if they'd never done anything across me at all(:rotfl:). (I'm then :doh:mystified that others somehow don't behave in this way and continue to harbour - what appear to be:D (and :idea:that's because they are:D:D) - grudges that they hold onto for continuous years and refuse to dispense with the prejudices they have and bad feeling that they have brought into existence from something that was said to them - usually, in earlier life, something I said unbeknowingly:o - oh well, their loss if they don't like me now, not mine:rotfl:.)

Really, getting into petty arguments and disputes over what are, to me, irrelevant things (but highly relevant unfortunately to most people) is not something I do - I would not know how to anyway!:o:rotfl: - and, as usual, I just get out of it and stay away from it and it's a better way of life, in a way. If only everyone else could not be so :doh:emotionally involved!:rotfl::rotfl: That's not to say I do not have emotions - I am therefore 'emotionally involved' (unfortunately, when things affect me) in some things, but just not these sorts of things. It's easy to say 'don't let things bother you' but sometimes people do lose their heads, can't see from outside back at themselves what they're doing, and do need to be told to calm down. Wish we could always get along swimmingly, and then of course there's the people that deliberately make others' lives difficult:( but less said of them the better and I hope very few people would do that.

I'm commenting however without seeing what the argument is about so don't know whether the cause was petty or not, although there's no excuse for the serious arguing and falling out.
