Prices round here (Surrey/Hampshire border) are quite unreasonable, I have no idea how any youngsters can actually afford to buy a house, I know we couldn't afford it these days

That said, the house is now worth 6 or 7 times what we paid for it 32 years ago. We could sell up, move to Yorkshire, and live off the proceeds for quite a while.

Must dash, smells like dinner is nearly ready :D

    :(

My friend's Partner was mugged at the cash point today.
The assailant didn't get his money as he fought back.
But now has a badly broken leg :(
He isn't in the best of health so quite worrying :(
Fortunately as it is small town, plenty of witnesses could give the Police the assailant's name, address, shoe size & dog's name :)

You think you're safe in a small town  similar thing happened here in town, no broken bones and the b00ger was caught because several people in the small market place saw it happen. They kindly gave the police name, address, age, parents names and where they worked.

Hope your friend recovers well Snap, it's dreadful enough that it happened at all but to end up with a broken leg  I hope he broke it kicking the perv, serve him right if he did xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
