    A hard wearing one :p

As I'm resigned to the idea that I'll be living with my mother for a long while (whilst I save up for a deposit/win the lottery/marry a millionaire), I'm moving into my brother's old room. So I'm upgrading from a small box room, single bed to a double bed. I have a budget of £200 though for a mattress and a frame. Not impossible but it's taking a lot of research. Considering my brother moved out 6 months ago, he still hasn't moved his bloody stuff out including his bed

It must be lovely living with your mum. I say that as a mum who enjoys having children living at home (well sometimes) rather than a younger person who left home at 16 and loved every moment.

Check the free pages... for a base. Get a good mattress and make your own head board... large, padded and covered in fabric x
    No. :rotfl:

How does it work....what is the protocol..... with the opposite sex .... coming home to mums?

Do you have Freegle/Freecycle in your area? It may be worth checking as beds come round on our groups regularly.

    Great minds and the like!

:rotfl: Looking at that pic, I just noticed, I have the same door handles on some of my doors.

Thank you and others, for the advice. I will see if there are any freecycle groups in my area. I like living my mother, we get on well. Regarding the opposite sex, that's an easy subject - I rarely date. It might sound odd, but it doesn't really interest me, well not at the moment anyway!

    It is a serious question.

I am trying to get my boys to stop using the house as a hotel for rude stuff with random girls... but I also want them to live their life to the full in their home. Girl shoes at the bottom of the stairs means that we don't disturb any of them!

Right shall I finish the report or go to bed.

Put your foot down and stop being so soft, if they want a night of pleasure, then the travel lodge is always open :p
