I decided I have had enough.... so came home from work.

Now it feels weird... it is light outside.

I've not read back - if there is anything that could persuade me to get my shoes on please shout at me.

    Happy birthday Di x

Does any this wine taste like lemonade?

I'm having a "do nothing day" :( feel totally trashed. Got a really itchy nose, that runs one minute and feels blocked the next, itchy left ears, icky throat, heavy eyes and a headache to boot. Found myself looking at cameras :eek:

Has anyone ever approached a company for sponsorship? I'm trying to find an email / phone no for someone at Sony that deals with marketing /sponsorship for students. On their live chat some, they suggested LinkedIn? To me that just looks like a lot of ambiguous job titles, where in reality they probably work on the shop floor and don't have much clout. :o Just want a loan of one of their camera's for my Final Major Project. I know one student did get in touch with Hasselblad and they loaned him a very expensive camera and sent some people to attend the end of year show!

That was a lovely thing for Hasselblad to do.

Do Sony had a public relations department? Facebook?

I have to say the link sight is rather good, and maybe a good place to begin... DS1 has received numerous job offers through them (yes I know that it is pompus ... but people who make decision use this).

Oh, and my laptop power supply has given up the ghost, ordered a new one but not really sure it's worth it's worth it, it's 6 years old and hanging on by a thread, constantly grinds to a halt and needs restarting :o Will need to buy another when it dies. Currently using my other laptop which is set up for photography and is a bit big for my liking. Sorry folks, I seem to be "moan moan moan" atm:(

Just think when you have completed your course, you will (hopefully) working in your desired field, and picking a new laptop out of your extensive wages! x

I sadly do not like red. However on Saturday night we were going to see something in the town, I was driving (as usual). DS3 rang to say traffic was a nightmare and for us to park out of town at his friends garage and he would take us in/collect us. When we arrived he said he could take us home at the end of the night...:T:T:T and then handed us a bottle of red that one of his friends had sent for us for Xmas.... we flipping well necked the wine in the car.. then straight into pub...we did briefly glimpse at the thing we went to see.... good night was had! Needs must... and that red was a need!

I had to google the Verve Clicquot... now I need to know what type of Verve Clicquot it is.... and why the heck is it so expensive (I am rubbish at plonk... a few years ago we was given a £200 bottle of champagne as a xmas gift. We drank it when DS2 turned 21, in his student digs out of plastic cups!
