Where do you live nearlysorted ?
I know how awful it is losing a furbaby .
We are in West London near Heathrow.
We went to the dogs trust and registered there. we saw one dog who could have fit the bill but when they checked her she couldn't live with kids. Last week we thought we had found another dog (he was a big dog:eek:) We were going to see him at the RSPCA but as he was in Essex the only day we could all go was Sunday and by then he had been rehomed:( for us butfor him.
The problem we are finding is a lot of dogs wont be homed to families with primary school aged children when in actual fact my children have been brought up with dogs and could be more responsible than a teenager who may never have had a dog before:(0 -
Glad peeps are getting their cheesy cashback.:T. I didn't partake in this one.
Think I was a week after everyone...but great to see them come through:TSharing my good news as the relief we are feeling is enormous. My youngest DD had her GCSE maths re-sit result today and she passed :j:j:j:j
Hurrah.

I don't know why but I thought you was up near me and was going to suggest Pennine Pen Animal Rescue . I am so glad I didn't know about them when I went Manchester Dogs Home or I wouldn't have our Poppy .
Then I was thinking if near Susan 3Dogs she could help. But you are miles away from us both .
Hope you find a forever pal for your other doggy .
That's strange I wonder why dogs wont be rehomed with primary school children.0 -

If I may be allowed to be slightly inappropriate at this time, I notice you said "My cat has gone." This makes me want to reply asking "Where has he gone?" or "Gone - where?". I hope this can bring a little bit of laughter which sometimes we need to cope with these types of things. It reminds me of the time that Nelson Mandela died and President Zuma made an announcement saying he "has departed". He made it sound, to me, like he had just got on the bus to the other side of town. I knew what he meant though. So I understand this and it's times like this that clarity is unnecessary. Of course I know what you mean and at this point as usual I just don't know what to say:o:o, except that I'm sorry to hear the news. I just don't do condolences very well, but they are heartfelt. Sadly, we all "go" at some point but hopefully we aren't "going" anywhere for a long time yet. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of Pip.
