I meant to have a low spend week. Lasted 30 mins. Reading glasses broke, so superglue from poundland. But got 2 x £1 Mr Shoes meal deals for today and tomorrow. 2 popcorn chicken from the colonel for free. Went to card factory and got cards and wrapping papers at 75% off, 24p each for paper and 40 mini cards for same price. Loads left, taking Ikea bag tomz lol.

Notice Mr Shoes thread a bit divided when sale starts and the time too. Will still go on Wednesday At 8AM Just in case.

    Hi BraveHeart

A have wrapping paper at 10p and 20p -- 90% off basically but I got 10 metres for 10p. They also had cards for 5p though the selection wasn't great.

Do people think T will drop their prices again at some stage?

I was at Boots in the Trafford Centre this morning -- they had loads of Christmas stock left!

    Poor Snap.

In mine I have to turn the hotspot on in my phone first. Then the PC can find it and use it to access the internet.

    Me too!

Mind you, mine lasts forever now, since I learned how to connect it to wifi instead and switched mobile data off. I was a bit slow learning about that, only did it a year ago... :D

I know how to connect to WIFI me clever ;) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We have not had much rain:T we are at TL now, but was up half the night as think dh had a bit of a bug:eek: but we have had the microwave out the wardrobe:rotfl: and had pie, tin peas, pots, carrots and gravy :D:D

Bubbs, is there a reason you have to live in a hotel for some of the year?!

You remind me of being a child when my parents were posted abroad. Until we were given a house, we were billetted in a hotel. Mum bought an electric frying pan (no microwaves in those days!) and saved a fortune...

We have a more than healthy stash of wrapping paper and cards ... I don't think I should buy any more, no matter how cheap :A.

Shame. Some of the cards left over are lush. And a better envelope size too!

Me too. I just need some envelopes and am contemplating making them from wrapping paper... Mind you, I am also thinking that charity shops next November might be glad of some decent donated cards.

Yes the reason is because its a"holiday" home not a residential , yet they sell them to you as being able to live there, i dont mind, its just an inconvenience more than anything and the summer when we have one:rotfl::rotfl: more than makes up for it
