I've skipped the last 20 pages so sorry if I've missed any birthdays or celebrations or commiserations :o

It's been a very long and eventful day today - my mum had her surgery today and I've only just got home  I'm absolutely shattered!

I bet you are, emotionally as well. Sending best wishes to your Mum for a speedy recovery xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

I've never used it for its correct purpose but it's brilliant for defrosting the freezer!

That is what the hairdryer is for!

Have decided to join in the frugal/thrifty January.
Grocery spends so far £14.23 but think there is enough in the freezer and cupboards so that I will only need milk and some fresh veg for the rest of the month. Looking to spend no more than £60.00.

I closed an old savings account today and came home with £32.97 :j
and have decided that that will be my 'glitch buying' fund for the month.

I'm continuing to 'sort' cupboards and realise that I don't need any toiletries or make up for about 4 years apart from deodorant which will probably run out next autumn. I have also made a resolution to use up the lotions and potions that I have.

A little while ago we were talking about all the toiletries that we liberate from hotels etc, I have a big basket full of these but never use them. Now have a 'few' Dove minis if we go away so I have decided that I will try to use these freebies up and have put a few small bottles in the shower.

I decant hotel toiletries into larger bottles and use them that way.

TM has got me watching the affair... well I have watched 2 episodes... it may take a while!

Haha, I've just started to watch this too, after reading comments on here. I'm part way through episode 3, but I'm finding it quite slow tbh. I will persevere.

I'll have a look at 'Lost' tmrw to see what that's all about.

They started off at £50 and went down to £35 before xmas I decided still to expensive for what was in it.

Not seen them in stock online but DD3 found one in store the other day for £16.99 so bought it with her xmas money.

    That will really suit you.

Thank you, I have ordered a navy blue bolero to go with it but I'm not sure if it will as the reviews say someone wore a grey jacket so I will have to try the 2 together, got free next day delivery with vouchercodes so won't have to wait long. :T
