    Evening mad squad,

I bought a really expensive (for me) hat today from debenhams, it cost the princely sum of £12.50 , it's a black knitted look type hat with a twist, it's got built in blue tooth speakers and mic :D, it's really warm and sounds pretty good too, just took the dogs out for a walk and listened to some tunes, if you like gadget hats  I would recommend it :p original price £25 :eek:

sounds good. my OH would like those

    Nice one TS

I walked away from the biggest piece of gammon I've ever seen. £20 odd down to £3 ish. Nowhere to put it and to be honest I'm already sick of the piece we STILL have. I'm sure the young lad who took it will make better use of it:)

There was a young girl at whoopsies tonight who kept saying"Did you know this is dated today" -and kept shaking her head:rotfl::rotfl:

These are the prices they are scanning so if they had been whoopsied would have been even cheaper, hams were dated tomorrow but I didn't want to chance leaving them there until tomorrow. And means DD1 has been able to take one back with her. ;)

They have likely been on holiday since pretty much that offer was on. They don't seem to process CS as quickly as CoS and have been closed from 23/12 until tomorrow so nothing will have happened in that time to investigate. Mine were processed on 22/12 - they don't appear in transactions bu are listed on the payments screen.

I would give them until the end of this week then chase again.

They paid out on all our accounts on the 23rd with no notifications ...except for a single pack stuffing that i haven't been paid for

Well that all sounds very promising, mhoc. :)

Actually yes, I really should be more grateful for the two word texts - they simply say 'thanks mum.'

It's the longer ones that start 'Can you do me a favour' that are the really worrying ones...

I get texts that just say, "Muuummm" a sign that something is wrong and it usually involves money!

I've done a really silly thing this evening I went to Ts after both girls were back on the road, must have got there about 5.15pm as I text friend as walking into store to see if she wanted a ham if there were any left.

Anyway, I had a right old nosey around every inch of the store and then it was start of whoopsie time, which took ages tonight as apparently someone said they had asked and the machine that does the yellow stickers needed charging so was running late.

Well we all got chatting while we were waiting and I didn't realise the time. I ended up being parked there for over 3 hours in the end. :( Got some good bargains but they won't be if I get a parking ticket. :o

    "They score, you score"

You have to pick a goal scorer whilst a game is on.

    They score you score.

It's been on there a while.
Just don't know how to redeem the free pint and wondered if the regulars know please?
curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!
  • Thank you. I'm on it now :)

I'm wondering if it worth transferring the £1750 in/out monthly via 2 DD to get the additional £50

Transferring between Accounts/Banks are Standing Orders, not Direct Debits.

Direct Debits are set up by the company (with your permission) to take the money out of your account.
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)
