I have a correction to make. The mystery has been solved. I said yesterday (twice, and will now be deleting both) that I was given the wrong price of a product at the till, only to find it was cheaper when I later saw the RTC card in another store.
In fact I reached a wrong conclusion from my stores yesterday. The information which I was told and which was displayed appears to me now to have been fully correct. Therefore, it was certainly not intentional and was inadvertent on Mr M's part that the presentation of the information in my stores misled me. That's right - sometimes it is correct information, and the truth, that can be misleading.
In one of my stores today, it became clear that the RTC label, that I saw earlier and I thought related to the product that I had checked at the till before, relates to a different product. That became clear as the store today had stock of the product and it's completely different to what I thought it was! In fact, unfortunately, the 50p RTC item turns out to seem not very substantive at all to me.
The RTC label is M's "Christmas Tree Biscuit". I misunderstood this - I had thought this meant M Decorate Your Own Christmas Tree Gingerbread Biscuit - the words "Decorate Your Own" appear on, and I have added them from, only the product packs themselves. However, M Christmas Tree Biscuit is a small to medium size biscuit (and doesn't seem worth 50p:rotfl:) whereas the Christmas Tree Gingerbread Biscuit is a pack, where you decorate your own, including icing. Sadly the Decorate your Own pack is £1 - that is an RTC and it has come down from £3:eek:; however it is not as good as the 50p price I was hoping for. The offer labels for the other product, that is 50p, the 'small' Christmas Tree Biscuit, do not have a weight because the product pack (I now have stock I didn't have yesterday) does not have any weight stated on it. I may add the other item (eventually) to the list, sadly at £1:(, that I have not seen any SELs for - and it's now complete as M Decorate Your Own Christmas Tree Gingerbread Biscuit (252g) at £1.0 -

Creme Eggs 25p each / 5 pack for £1 @ Morrisons (instore)

So how come I don't have them at all:mad::mad:?:rotfl::rotfl::eek::rotfl:
Mind you... don't I usually expect at least 8 at £1 (as that was Home Bargains' offer one recent year) or even more on an A glitch around Easter? But, even so, it's no excuse for me not having them (or not having seen them) in all my stores!
To be fair to me though, I have been concentrating on additional items as reduction items post-Christmas and Easter:eek: had not entered my mind at all!(:(:rotfl:)
St. Helens as well:eek: - that's where I need to go!:mad:0 -
