Don't know if anyone has tried (unsuccessfully) to use the discount code from Amex (shop with points) but I have been unable to.
Amazon chat couldn't help so I called Amex. Apparently there are some problems with the code for some people so they are instead going to credit my account with £25. The voucher code was only £150 -

And all depend on whether prices drop after update. Unlikely the offer showing on SELs in most stores so check what item scans through till at.
Thanks for this:T:T. I came home late last night and was able to go to out to A and finish a Crunchy Nut shop before midnight. It wasn't a fully planned shop as my womble a little in excess of £6 allowed me to go 'freestyle', something I rarely do - mainly more so because I don't know which items are on a.com. As I don't know what counts, therefore every item I am putting another item into the shop in case the previous one didn't count, and then another in case the second one doesn't count and etc... Of course, it's 'dangerous' if you don't know what you are doing as I don't normally know what competitor prices are but, with me and Morries, there's no trouble...:D
Of course the first thing I saw when I walked into A (and was totally unaware of beforehand:o) was the Curly Kale at 50p and, knowing that Curly Kale at M is much more expensive, I bought it on my shop because 'they never pick this item up':D. Trust it be the first time ever that they do so, however, it worked - Curly Kale returns N/A for M:rotfl::rotfl:. The product name of the Kale in does not say that it is unwashed or perhaps it isn't unwashed, in which case it could correctly being seen as non-comparable. Not that we need more veg., but I seem to be buying healthily:rotfl: - and have enough room in the fridge.
And, you know what happens, when the Everyday Minced Beef Pasty disappears(:() months ago from T online. That's right - it allows me to put it on versus M as I don't get the 10% anymore! Except that - :(the APG turns up with it comparing against T at same price 30p so I lost all of three pence on it. T's version is indeed no longer available in my nearby Ts - I think it's probably available in T somewhere else in the country but is no longer showing for me in my area when I look online so I couldn't know. I should have bought a SP Choc. Bar instead as I would have got the 3p from that vs M - and I wanted one of those but totally forgot as I'd already reached my voucher amount with 9 items (and fairly confident I'm not going to lose more than one). However, we did need extra pasty so it was something useful to have got.
I was originally going to do Crunchy Nut & Coco Pops, to get another item that counted, but saw the post where the Coco Pops gave no return against M just in time. I knew the Crunchy Nut were good price at M when I first saw your post but it was way too late in the day by time I got here! If I'd been asked what price the Crunchy Corn Flakes were in M, I'd probably have said £3. However, seeing £2.50, it clicks now as I remember 25p/kg. quite clearly. They are £2.50 in M or at least they were last Wednesday - in fact I haven't noticed the Corn Flakes at all in M this week which probably means they're gone back to full price (they're not a item I have been tracking as they're not on last time's list). Unfortunately indeed they missed the list as straight M price was not at my 20p/kg. price:wall:. In fact I hope they are full price in M as of Monday - it makes it seem better if they've given £2.50 only because the price collectors happened to be on holiday:rotfl:.
I probably didn't buy nearly enough:eek: - only did two boxes (they are large ones although that seems to encourage them to consume more:() and BB December 2017 - we'll need far more than that! They'll never be as good price again, but that's what I got. Much better than Lidl's expensive version at 99p for 500g! I was glad that I hadn't bought that, except I then got home and :doh:realised I had as I saw one box I'd bought last week in the cereals cupboard - that's how desperate we've been for this sort of thing recently (already had to resort to buying from Lidl:eek: - I should have stayed off just a little longer).
M yesterday there is lots of change - probably another one week update:rotfl:. The first store actually didn't seem too bad but then it was the second onwards where lots of things got added and conflicts created that then hopefully got resolved later - it felt like I was spending three hours in the second store but it turned out to be "only" two. This, from a second store, that is supposed to be 30 minutes:rotfl:. However, this is because of the much wider range - and also the timed car park there that probably wouldn't allow me to do a big change day even within three hours! So, although there's some duplication, it works out better to do some of the collection elsewhere earlier. I can't begin to tell you what's changed and what's on now as the information I have, which it is all carefully recorded in - it will tell me exactly what's off and what's now on:T - needs sorting out.
I don't have the Nestle Walnut Whip or the Cadbury Festive Friends yet, and I hope I don't find the Cadbury Finger's Star at reduced price seeing that I bought some at full offer price £1 last week:rotfl: but I have some additional RTCs (I don't think many of them are any good and I'll mention a bit about that later when I eventually catch up with yesterday) but with various Christmas RTCs being just items that happen to have been left in certain stores, I'm getting more additional items than normal at each store. Unfortunately:rotfl:/fortunately it has peaked up my curiosity and I'm going out to do a supplementary, although it's like one store and, then why not do the next as it's only five miles away and, then, why not the next as that's now just down the road and etc.:rotfl: So I could end up with every store eventually:rotfl::rotfl:. However, I am just doing to look at a few more, for some 'additional items', so, I'm now putting up the sign as I'm away from this thread and back this sometime this evening hopefully early.
Those Cadbury Fingers were/are (I hope it's not "are":rotfl:) a much better (cheaper) way of buying Cadbury Chocolate than the Cadbury large Chocolate Bars - the bars are no longer on offer in M although I think Galaxy still is (but that doesn't count, as we want Cadbury's:D) - the 360g Chocolate Bars were at £2:eek:. Much better to get the same weight of Cadbury Fingers at £1 - and they work(ed) out better than the 228g twin pack (that used to be £1 but is currently £1.50!). So, little surprise, I hope, if people (did the muggles really manage to notice this was the case?) have managed to find the 360g Fingers Star and bought it, making it harder for me to find now:(:rotfl::(.
Enjoy the rest of the day if you can!:A0 -
I agree!
I think my score shot up because I admitted using a tea bag twice and using my cereal milk in said cup of tea, only did it once when I was too poorly to leave the house and low on supplies. :rotfl:
Hehe we are the samexx

Thanks for the well wishes :j p.s. that is NOT me jumping up and downSounds really painful. Have you tried arnica for the bruising? You can get a cream to apply to the bruised area but you can also get arnica tablets to help the healing process. Hope you feel easier soon.
Something like these

The lovely people on this forum, never fail to amaze me.
I am sitting here, feeling sad, as it is the anniversary of my Mum's death. Up pops tweets with a thought for me. :A Made me smile, thanks.
A few weeks ago, my son was diagnosed with three cancerous moles. A couple of :A:A on here, bubbs and queenie were there for me.Luckily he was fast tracked and his three moles were downgraded to one of 80% cancerous. He is now waiting to have them removed and treated but it looks quite positive.
Fingers and everything else crossed.
Last week, my last remaining aunt was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and due to her age, will not be with us much longer. The next morning when I logged on, Snap-ant posted about a pair of Birkenstocks that she knew that I was after, at an MSE price. :A The same morning, I had an absolutely lovely pm from Ladyshopper that really lifted me. :A
The friendship and support of people on here is amazing.
Thank you.
Sorry MKS I did mean to comment on this but mustn't have ticked it. Sorry to hear what is going on around you at moment, my thoughts are with you. My Big Sis went to doc about a changing mole on her back and the doc said they would remove it and check it (it was early cancer but should be OK now) but at same time said that lump on her nose was definitely cancerous. She had badly grazed her nose in the 70's and every summer in the sun, it would come right up. Her grandchildren called her Nanny McG. But she never thought of it as cancerous. Cue surgery to remove all the lump right around tip of her nose and surrounding tissue, with skin slit up each side , loadof her nose and lots of tiny stitches to lessen scarring, hopefully got it all. Lots of repeat visits to hospital to follow
I so agree with you on the ELITE, they are amazing :iloveyou:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12
