Thankfully my tax return was done pre-Christmas.
I'm still undecided whether or not to venture out today. I have no freezer space in any event and most of next year's presents already sorted with Sanctuary.
I plan to try a no spend January - as far as possible - and use the food I already have. Also need to lose some weight!

I've still got things put away for next Xmas, I kept back the Yankee candles I got in the boots sale as thought they will keep ok and tried to gift all the toiletries this year. But I still have BS gift sets and not ordered anything from them for nearly 2 years now because I could not remember how old they were I didn't like to gift them.

But my frugal spend for the month will only be for food, milk etc.

I really want the £30 brush set so will keep checking...
