Had a good morning at the sales. Got easter presents - wine gums, jelly babies & choc eclairs boxes reduced to £1 so everyone is getting a box of each tied together with a ribbon. Much better value than chocolate eggs. Brazil nuts and fruit & nut packs were reduced to £1.25 so also bought some of those as had long dates on them.
Got all of my family Xmas cards for next year at half price plus a few nice gifts for DD at the card shop. Spent £18 but I see that as saving £18.
Managed lots of nice gifts in Superdrug as only me there when they opened the doors so DD has 2 nice make-up brush sets, some bubble bath, eye pallette, lip glosses, make-up bag, etc already for next year. box neatly packed ready for the loft.
I came home laden with bags. and very happy with what I had bought.
Sainsbury's were reducing turkey crowns to 75% off, nearly tempted as there were some beauties. They also had stuffed ducks, pork, chickens all heavily reduced. Mostly dated 27th so would have frozen well, but determined to use what I have in the freezer from woopsies before buying some more.
Off to throw a little 'left over' buffet together for the 3 of us for tea before settling to watch a couple of films.0 -

To enable this feature (it is built into Windows) follow these simple directions:
•Open “Start Menu”.
•Go to “Control Panel”.
•Find “Mouse” and click on it. “Mouse Properties” should open.
•Go to “Pointer Options” and check “Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key”:
I've had this before, there's a button at the top of my laptop that I hit sometimes. For the life of me I can't remember which one it is though.
Hope it helps 'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -
