Good morning everyone. Happy Boxing Day. Hope your Christmas Day went as well as mine did. Wonderful day with family. Dinner was perfect (except very late as 1 guest slept in.
Horrid day outside. Wet and windy. Going to venture out to the sales for 9am to start next Christmas.

Good morning. So I'm not the only one up early. Calm day weather wise here in Somerset.
Had a lovely Xmas day. Breakfast at my Mums for 10 of us we had fry up with Italian sausages as my late Italian father always made sausages of different types for Xmas breakfast.
Then lunch at my sil's parents for 12 of us. We all took a dish or 2 ( I made cauliflower cheese bread sauce and xmas pudding ice cream. )
Then quiet evening on my own at home. Watched call the midwife but not much else on.
Quiet day today but may venture to the sales. Have a noce day everyone

looks like wine 6 for £24 is ending today, unfortunately i cant see any comparisons good enough for us. prices may change by the morning.
    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda/bundle/932719_1973247.html

also heinz soup 5 for £3 ending so may work out at 34p per can. if it compares to morrisons or some at waitrose. its still early hrs so prices may change on 6am update.
heinz spag bog may work out at 14p v w or m if prices dont change (other £1 single cans may also give the same return)

    Morning :)

Happy Boxing Day sales, anyone braved Next ?

The wine and soup/beans also showing ending for me too, however the soup/beans look to have gone to 50p a can.

With the wine, depends whether the individual bottle prices are still £5.00 each or whether some have gone back to pre-offer price, eg the Faustino VII Rioja was originally £7.48 then £5.00 for the duration of the offer, then finding a good comparison.

    https://groceries.asda.com/promotion/2-for-pound350/ls87897

Also ending John West no drain tuna 3 pack (£4.00 each) and John West chunks (£3.00 each) 4 pack, 2 for £5.00

    https://groceries.asda.com/promotion/2-for-pound350/ls87567

Can’t see any good comparisons for chunks but the tuna no drain should compare £8.00 v £6.00 against Tesco.

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda/bundle/661186_1807374.html

John West Light Lunch/Steam Pots/Creations also ending

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda/bundle/661179_1701560.html

Light lunch should compare some Tesco/Morries, check who stocks what flavour. Some of the steam pots should compare to Tesco, again check flavours.

Like the soup/beans, depends on whether prices have dropped and need to check what items scan at.

Christmas Day was lovely here too!........We have had many years of difficult Christmas' trying to accommodate family....... Several years ago we decided to start a new tradition and join up with friends to do a joint Christmas meal. So lovely. We played board games. The young people played 'Cards Against Humanity' and the Oldies watched Elf!

Heading into Town with DD early, but hoping to spend most of the day decluttering.

Have a great day! HE x

    Morning all :)
Can't face the sales, will stay in and watch the football (I didn't find a code Anon). DH full of cold. We were meant to be visiting my sister later this week but BIL has shingles  so will have to wait and see.
