Good morning all, rather cloudy but not doing anything out there.
Finally have some space in the freezer so I will cut up my stewpacks of veg whilst I am doing the Christmas veg, that way I only have to grab a pack of chopped beef and a pack of veg when I want to do a stew
Only problem is, the long worktop is covered in things to do for Christmas :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Has a very busy morning. All veg peeled and in fridge for tomorrow. Quiche in oven for tea and salad prepared. OH laying the table then it will be quick bath & relax for the rest of the day. May even pop out for a woopsie run, reduction check for extra stocking fillers & a quick womble.
When I was in Asda yesterday, the woopsie lady brought over a few cases of bashed white chocolate & raspberry snowflake desserts calling supervisor who told her to reduce them. She said who would even buy them. I said reduce them to 10p & I will have a couple so she did. She went through the boxes picking me the best ones out which only had 1 side damaged. Date is boxing day so lovely desserts sorted for 20p (were £5 each). Plate up with fresh raspberries and some cream & they will be amazing.0 -
