DH uses my late dad's petrol mower. My dad passed away in 1996 and I can remember him having the mower for many years before that. It's a bit like Trigger's broom I think :D It can do stripes too, but only if DH walks in a straight line lol.

From the description, I think she was being put to sleep.

I am tempted to not work Wednesday and go to the Vets... it sounds like a hoot!

When we were kids we used to have to 'roller' the grass to get strips. We made sure that they were straight.... :o:o:o

We were so happy when the handle fell off one day... but dad had it flipping mended!

That's so funny, and just typical of a man lol. I parboiled the spuds this afternoon and foil wrapped them in a disposable turkey tin ready to be roasted on Christmas Day. I put the turkey tin on a melamine tray to keep it more stable and stop it bending as they were being moved due to the weight of the spuds. I asked DH to put the spuds in the fridge in the garage. A few hours later I was tidying the kitchen and asked DH if he had seen my tray. Oh he said, I've put in the fridge with the spuds on  what a donut!

Makes sense to me, then it saves remembering to take a tray back into the garage to being them back. An organised kitchen godess would have enough melamine trays to go round :D

The dogs... we have been googling how to do it. One of the suggestions is 'know your dogs urination habits':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: she squats whilst she is walking... DS2 said he is taking a tray with him...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
