For MBGs, what do you put or can you put anything? I bought the Bacofoil but they must be pretty confident it is non-stick?

    Evening luvlies

Just sat down, mammoth prepping done today as we are at the panto lunch time tomorrow. All the family, plus DD1 and DD2's in-laws, we are off to see Cinderella. Can't wait :rotfl:

Got my bacofoil cheque sent through today, thanks again JuJu. Cheque was for £4.53 although the foil only cost £4. I'm guessing they've added postage? although I applied online. Anyway, that's very quick, I'm well happy.

Anon, I said I cooked Heck chicken on mine and it stuck, DH said something similar (diff address) I haven't even opened the rolls yet :rotfl:

Was there a glitch on Jasper Conrad boxes of 3 pairs of socks earlier in the year? I have a box of them in my gift cupboard, but worried incase they were a gift and I end up re-gifting them. I only wear one make of socks, and it isnt these. Plus they have a price of £16 on, so I would not have paid that for them

I'm guessing it was an order from Debenhams DM, they sell a lot of JC. Have a look through your email orders from Debs, you'll probably find them in there :D

Off to wrap the gammon, should have cooled down enough by now.

BTW, so glad peeps keep winning on Blippar. For those who haven't yet, just keep at it ;)

    and so it begins

Eldest child is en route and there was some problem with her trains and connections - there often is. So now she is delayed, cold and knackered and I think she is having to hang around Manchester Picc.
I asked her yesterday what she was up to today and she said they were going out for breakfast. As far as I could tell that was the only thing on the agenda so I really don't know why she decided to take a late afternoon train ...

So she started messaging, asking about Christmas dinner starters and she then suggested that she makes soup. I say its a bit filling before a big dinner but OK. I suggest making it the day before and then heating it up. She suggests it could be before dinner or as a supper, all very amicable.

I say we have plenty of carrots and onions. Then she suggest celeriac which I turn down because I think it tastes of celery. Eldest child disagrees. She suggests leek and potato but its a bit bland and oniony for me.
Then she has a hissy fit and says she wont do anything as its too hard.

I don't know what is wrong with carrot and coriander but I dare not suggest it without getting my head bitten off.

I'd better go and hide the crosse and Blackwell cans incase they start her off :rotfl:

Christmas is so hard.... you want them home, but then they revert to being 3 year olds. They all do this. Don't worry, open a bottle of wine and get drunk!

Morrisons Tree Decorations Milk Chocolate (100g)[Strike]£1.00:eek:[/Strike] 50p

Typical that the M Tree Decorations have gone to 50p - this being immediately after they appear to have sold out of many stores. It took me some time to find them again midweek last week and early this week, suggesting that they had gone from many. Well, they have now gone to 50p - after I had them on the list at £1! As of this week, they were probably now in a little fewer than 1 out of 6 stores, as opposed to 5 or even 6 out of 6 regularly earlier. They are very bitty in stores now - I think people now will no longer have a good chance of having them in their store, although someone will do so, and I imagine the 50p since Wednesday (or possibly Tuesday) will have seen them disappear even more. This will be remembered next year - they will either never again appear on the list at £1 (as that's at least twice the cost they 'should' be - and they will probably go to 25p later) or else, if they ever come back onto the list next year (assuming I keep doing this thing:rotfl:), there will be a note saying how they've been 50p before. To be fair to me though, I now notice that I did have an "" symbol after the £1 price. They got to the list at £1(!) because Cadbury's version, available more widely, is much more expensive at 2 for £3. So, in that sense, Milk Chocolate Tree Decs. in M were a "good" buy. And are a somewhat better buy now. Of course they are now no longer showing online - presumably any calculation of 'average price' on msm in the future (November/December next year) will now relate to them always being £1 whenever they've been available online rather than taking into account any 50p price that are on now.
