Used my voucher this evening from orchard, looking forward to trying their party food on Friday!

No nothing spectacular. A few people used them to buy Valerie patisserie tea for two but it ended up costing over £6..... still a good deal as their cakes are quite fancy....but too rich for me.

I was coerced into getting a tea towel by someone who kept sending me codes against my will:o

I think TS was getting a mini apron and little chefs hat.

I think the best thing is if you live close to their farm/ factory you can get free lunches with vouchers.

    Nothing to write home about

Ok, that helps ...... I'll not buy more than I need.

Yes, agree the shops are very quiet as far as I've seen. The large Sainsbobs near me exceptionally so, just sailed through the checkout yesterday

Come and live by me, the shops are not quiet, they are heaving, its awful.
  • Well, I'm in A&E 😩

Today was not a good day. I decided to go horse riding, something I haven't done in many years. It turned out to be a big mistake!

I got on the horse and started out slowly, but then we went a little faster; before I knew it, we were going as fast as the horse could go. I couldn't take the pace and fell off, but caught my foot in the stirrup with the horse dragging me. It wouldn't stop.

Thank goodness the manager at Toys-R-Us came out and unplugged the machine. But he had the nerve to take the rest of my change so I wouldn't attempt to ride the Elephant.

How many of you actually read all that I wrote? I certainly did when I first saw it:o Been round before but it caught me again!

I know my experience is hardly representative but is anyone else surprised at how quiet the shops are this week?

Can I ask about the Amex post office cashback.

I have a parcel to post tomorrow. Can I buy anything they sell....it's a busy little shop.....to make it up to £10 in order to get back my fiver or do I have to buy stamps.

    Thank you and please:D

last year I bought one of the giftcards - one4all??? - just make sure you go through the post office counter

I bought One4all - you say how much you want adding to the card so can be quite precise :) (I bought a £10 giftcard but I am sure it works on the total transaction value).

Agree with Anon, but I would just get a tenner One4all, not worth the risk. You are late to this party mind TM, got my One4all card weeks ago (but shamefully never did a single small shop shop :o )

Have I missed a wine glitch? This was clearly giving full price yesterday, although they are 6 for £24 on the receipt - sadly this one does not compare against anywhere... but there might be others on 6 for £24 offer at A that might compare favourably against competitors that could be put with this item, assuming that that offer is still on. Probably over now, but can't be helped - checked it as soon as I could.

    6x Marques del Norte Cava Brut (75CL) £30.00 N/A

Overall comp. itself was not bad, although A were cheaper:(. I have managed to pick up two other receipts, from November:( and August:( and both of them with colleague discounts:(:(. So this was reduced down to one but it only takes one to be okay - another £3.20-odd back:). Really should not have had them cheaper though:rotfl::mad: - this is all within shopper's control as they are not forced to buy items that are cheaper on the same shop so it's just completely unnecessary that A should ever turn out to be cheaper on a shop put into the APG!:(:rotfl::rotfl:
