    What a day!

I collected a Christmas donation of toys and received about 3 times as much as we normally do. The car was full to bursting:T:T

I've made a start sorting them into ages and gender.

That's the easy bit. They now have to be wrapped and delivered and there's over 100:eek:

    And here's me thinking I am organised:eek:

Ah, you're so good TM, if I lived nearer you I'd pop round and help out, I honestly would :)

I need to ask you about yeokens. There was loads of yogurt whoopsied in M tonight to 9p. I bought one then when I got home thought it may have been worth buying just for the yeokens, don't really know what they're worth collecting for. Thanks

try air b&b - or maybe a holiday flat which you can book for 2 weeks - might be cheaper than a hotel as you can home cook

If there really are too many to do, if any schools are still open they may support some of the A level kids to help out for a few hours.

No nothing spectacular. A few people used them to buy Valerie patisserie tea for two but it ended up costing over £6..... still a good deal as their cakes are quite fancy....but too rich for me.

I was coerced into getting a tea towel by someone who kept sending me codes against my will:o

I think TS was getting a mini apron and little chefs hat.

I think the best thing is if you live close to their farm/ factory you can get free lunches with vouchers.

Thanks SSM but it's one of those jobs that's just quicker if you get your head down and get on with it.

Will anything bad happen if I don't change all the bedding before Christmas?

Yes, its in the statute, everyone has to have clean beds for Christmas or no Christmas presents.

I am dreading changing the duvet, its king size and weights half a ton and takes 2 of us to wrestle it :D If i dont change it though it just gets all bent out of shape ...

It'll all come out in the wash.:)

I know my experience is hardly representative but is anyone else surprised at how quiet the shops are this week?
