    Evening all!

Just running in and out as I still have far too many things left on my to do list, but I've been tasked with finding a last-minute present for a 27 year old male friend, for around £10-£15. He doesn't do much in the way of hobbies, but he cares about what he wears and his appearance, and likes brands. He also likes whisky so I wondered whether a small bottle might be an option, as I can't think of a branded gift item that would be nice for under £15. Any advice for either a present or a suitable small bottle of whisky would be gratefully received as I only have tomorrow to get it

This is the only other present DH was supposed to get, other than his gifts to me, so lord knows what I'll be unwrapping on Sunday!!

Might be worth looking in M&S, saw this the other day but says not in stock on line

There's something similar on Amazon for £22! I think my M&S has got rid of a lot of their gifts though, I walked past briefly with my arms full of loo roll and kitchen roll (thanks RF!! :D)

    Bloomin' Blippar!

Just won twice in quick succession....didn't realise you couldn't claim twice in one day on the same email address so lost one win!

You silly sausage :o - as you are only supposed to be able to enter once per day, you should have claimed for OH or with another email, though you obviously know that now

    Hurrah, success on blippar.
Can we claim using the same email addy on separate days??

Different email, perhaps as a different person (OH)?

My blippar amazon code arrived within minutes of winning.

Mine arrived at tea time, I assume for the one won earlier. Mrs Anon also won again :) but still waiting for that one to arrive and the one from last Friday :(.

I am loving this promo :)... a couple more and I will have recovered my losses from my £30 APG error :) (okay, not really, I am still down £30 as the two are not linked, before anyone pops on to correct me :D).

Are either of those any good? It's really not my area :o

I'm not expecting to get something amazing for that price, but I think I'd rather give a small bottle of something nice than a larger not-as-nice one.

Otherwise I've found this but it's a bit over budget and I can't decide whether it looks worth the money or not https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Whisky/Penderyn-Nosing-Glass-Gift-Pack-Whisky/B00CA7VPZU

I know the blue bottle is very trendy - I remember reading something about Haig rebranding to appeal to 20 somethings ..
Just tried to do some googling and there is a Haig club advert with a Beckham look alike - young, sauve, stylish - oo it is Beckham!

A little old lady was walking down the street dragging two large plastic garbage bags behind her. One of the bags was ripped and every once in a while a $20 fell out onto the sidewalk.

Noticing this, a policeman stopped her, and said, “Ma’am, there are $20 bills falling out of that bag.”

“Oh, really? Darn it!” said the little old lady. “I’d better go back and see if I can find them. Thanks for telling me officer.

“Well, now, not so fast,” said the cop.“Where did you get all that money? You didn’t steal it, did you?”

“Oh, no, no”, said the old lady. “You see, my back yard is right next to a Golf course.

A lot of Golfers come and pee through a knot hole in my fence, right into my flower Garden. It used to really tick me off. Kills the flowers, you know. Then I thought, ‘why not make the best of it?

So, now, I stand behind the fence by the knot hole, real quiet, with my hedge clippers.

Every time some guy sticks his thing through my fence, I surprise him, grab hold of it and say, ‘O.K., buddy! Give me $20, or off it comes.’

“Well, that seems only fair,” said the cop, laughing. “OK. Good luck! Oh, by the way, what’s in the other bag?”

    “Not everybody pays.”

    lol

We got FIL the Haig Clubman for his birthday last week and he's very happy with it, although at 86 not quite the same age as your friend. As mhoc says, it also looks very stylish.
