Went to T this morning for the round cheese. Omg, how busy?! I decided against the full ball in the end as I was a bit concerned about the Frico thing, so I just got a prepacked piece from the fridge, which came up on the receipt as T Edam. It will be plenty for DH and didn't cost too much either so I'm happy with that.

  • Enjoyed a lovely few days with dgd but unfortunately when her mum left she forgot an important xmas present . All bagged up and ready along with dgd rucksack with clothes for last few days plus a spare pair of boots.
Taking dgd to theatre tomorrow afternoon in London before meeting her mum for full hand over of child. Been worrying about bags, could I manage, would we be allowed in theatre ect plus how hard it is to keep track of a 4 year old unless you have their small hand in yours. So I have made the decision the 2 bags are going into a small case and said case is being left at the luggage facility at st p.where they charge £12.50 per bag (hence one large instead of 2 small. Very happy now decision has been made.

Took dgd to cinema to see Ballerina today. If was a delightful film. Originally made in french I think then English voices came later. Dgd took it all in and afterwards was galloping around practising her jumps. She does ballet so had a good understanding and really wants to see the nutcracker. Tickets tomorrow are courtesy of a dear friend who happened to know a cast member and managed to get me some Elite seats. :j:j:j will tell all once I stumble home.
Dgd has been an absolute delight these last few days.
