    From the COS team

We hope you are looking forward to the festivities. The CheckoutSmart Elves will be taking a short break over the holidays too, which will mean we will not be making any payments against requests made after Wednesday 21st December until Thursday 5th January, but we will be up and running again straight after the party season!

    thanks for this.

Does anyone think that there will be any more exciting cashbook freebies in the next 2 days?
Both accounts I can draw down on now but I am dithering especially after Saturday - I had the baby food email at 8 but it didn't upload onto my account until mid morning ...
I think I might wait until this afternoon and then do the withdrawal ...

Never been drunk, never had a hangover, with very good reason.

When my mum was still around, she and father would start drinking as soon as they got up at Christmas, she was always very pleased with herself for managing to cook Christmas dinner, she could never remember how she did it. She didn't, she was incapable of it by then, I was the one that cooked it :( After seeing that pair get drunk on a regular basis I have never had so much to drink that I am incapable.

On a happier note, that panda? Wrapped and under the tree waiting for DGD :D

    Good morning everyone.

A couple of items on GreenJinn are a good deal if pairing with PYO at Waities, end prices as follows:

    R Whites lemonade 2 litres for 30p
    Nescafe gold blend 100g £1.44
    Persil liquid colour 875ml 25 wash £2.80

Hope you all have a lovely start to your week:)

thanks for this, not looked at GJ yet - these are a good excuse to do the Waitrose run.
I was thinking this morning that on a Monday a few things seem to be OK to buy for GJ but Sainsburys have price updates mid week so you need to check prices again on Wednesday - I am finding the Wednesday prices better than the Monday prices :)

My Mr !!!!!! shop from Sunday. OS sparkling was back on the shelves :j but it then meant I had not brought enough OS MOCs - originally I was getting 6 juices and 2 dried cranberries.
Still no u&g - I was trying and failing to get to £30 and I know I should just have added badly fitting clothing but I try to avoid doing returns at CS with my MOC laden receipts - in a small store you soon get noticed ...
The expiring conditional spend I then just gave to someone who was going through a till with a trolley load - at least I did my random act of kindness for the day :T

The food bank trolley in our store was rammed full - empty on Friday so it was a bit of a squash to get the usual Hipp and soup etc into it.

Sophie cat is still asleep on the sofa on her blanket and Ronnie cat is into the new washing basket we collected from recycling yesterday - both black cats, Ronnie and Treacle have slept in it so it has met with huge approval :)

so I have to find quiet jobs to do this morning - no banging and crashing about and no curtains drawn until they finally get out of their pits :rotfl:

    talk to you all later
