  • On the lead up to the big day...I thought it a good time to tell a story of Xmas past....

    Several years ago at Christmas, we all went to my sister's house
    for the traditional feast. Knowing how gullible my sister is, I decided to play a trick
    on her....I told her that I needed a card taken to a very nice lady who lived down the road. She had always been so kind to us at Xmas and during the year giving us treats as kids...

    When my sister left, I took the turkey out of the oven, removed the stuffing and stuffed a poussin
    and inserted it into the turkey, and re-stuffed the turkey. I replaced the
    the bird(s) back in the oven.

    When it was time for dinner, my sister pulled the turkey out
    of the oven and proceeded to remove the stuffing. When her
    serving spoon hit something, she reached in and pulled out
    the little bird.

    With a look of total shock on her face, my mother exclaimed,
    "Susie", you've cooked a pregnant bird!"

    At the reality of this horrifying news, my sister started to
    cry. It took the family two hours to convince her that
    turkeys lay eggs!

    Yep..................SHE'S A BLONDE!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    but we have not identified anything yet that is invisible on the A side - there was coconut lindor for a short while but i think that failed as well eventually ...

    Sorry, I must have missed that coconut had stopped working. The list in the offer seems to have been refreshed (E Shaw Mint Chocs are there and Sugnature Chocs that we're not there earlier in the promo) so it may be worth comparing again if anyone is instore.

    Good morning everyone

    Juju, did you buy this from the deli cheese counter, or off the shelf? Just worried the receipt won't specify Edam on it and I end up paying for a huge piece of Edam that I can't claim back:eek:

    Yes on my receipt it says edam, so I am not expecting any problems. This is what it says in the T&C's
    I bought the ball on the deli
    UK, CI and IoM only. 18+. Purchase any pack of Own Brand/Private label Edam or Edam Product between 01/10/2016 and 31/12/2016 from Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrison’s, Waitrose or Co-op. Claim by: 31/01/2017. Registration required, short questionnaire to complete. One product refund per household, per bank account. Max value £15. Keep till receipt/online order to claim.

    Imagine their little faces if we put an Edam instead of a Babybel in their school packed lunch :D.

    The key question is ... how the heck has the Edam offer escaped us when it has been running since 1st October, and what else are we missing out on :eek:.
