    Afternoon all!

The flame deer have finally got me, I've been so good not buying things whilst browsing around the dark side, but I just cracked and bought some PJs! At least they'll do from my dad to my mum and as a present for my difficult to buy for friend. Just got to decide who gets the gift wrap as unfortunately they'll be wrapped together. Fingers crossed it arrives before our Christmas meal on Friday!

We ordered a small double divan and mattress last night, should be here tomorrow. Nothing like a deadline to make us get the room ready quick-sharp!

I think 2 of these would count as a £70 spend towards getting the free £12 xmas food box if you spend £75. There are lots of little bits half price so might be possible to get the food box for as little as a £32.50 spend. :money:

Other offers that might help towards spend thanks to all the HUKD OPs. :)

    Xmas Saver!
just a real quick drop in, but have a look in boots for the Missguided toiletires set - 4 items in a clear bag including a spaekly shimmer spray. Should be £12 each and 342, however in a t least 2 stores I have been to, the items have been marked as £5 each. THey go thorough the till at £12 each and 3 4 2, but a quick word with a manager and I got £14 refunded so £5 each and 3 4 2 . Hth, will drop by later for a better read and a catchup as not been here for yonks!

Regarding Amex I finally got my £5 credit yesterday from the Post office spend last Thursday so all is right with the world again - I think we need to be more patient :D

Also regarding the Amex shop small promotion - not enough time to do any today but its dental check up day tomorrow so maybe ...

On my list of potential places to visit was a restaurant bar in a nearby town even though the place shut for business in the summer. So at the weekend I noticed it was still listed and I finally got around to sending Amex a message today to say the place was shut - its a bit of a cheek but I am hoping that they will credit me with £5 anyway :)

Then I checked twitter and a local twitter feed had followed me. I checked their recent tweets which in included something from the local paper. It turns out that the closed venue has been bought by another local chain and it will re open on Friday under a new name!

So it will be interesting to see what response I get from Amex!
