She said she only just finished it, not overly confident as she said by the end she just couldn't think any more.

Very small percent actually fail but it is towards the ranking scores for first choice of area and she has picked a competitive one.

They don't actually find out until the junior doctor job offers come through in March, so it's a long wait now.

I'm sure this pie wasn't to Marmites standards, it had a yellow sticker. :rotfl:

At least March is far enough away for her to put it to the back of her mind and enjoy a Christmas. I'm sure she will have gone well.....she sets high standards for herself......bit like me and me cakes:rotfl:

You might actually save money you know.....depending on what you normally do at Christmas....even just a few meals out can cost a fortune here. Plus you will have lots of fun in the sunshine. You won't have to spend much:)
Worked it out xmas for the kids averages £1500 ( there is 7 off them tho) they all want expensive techy stuff now. Or don't need anything.
So instead of doing a full on Christmas it's a holiday with a small gift and the older girls is the holiday as a present with some perfume n pjs. The sun will be nice as not been away at all last year. Just praying for lots of sunshine.
All inc will save us £ in the long run and think I got a bargain. Plus I'm not looking for somewhere to eat on xmas day. Or stressing.

I will try and sneak a pic tomorrow but DD3 has come in with a huge panda bear this evening. She has been to London for the weekend with her BF and he won it for her. What it is to be young and carefree.

    Bump :D .....
Just won a £10 Amazon GC, thanks to 10 Ways.

Have taken the following straight from 10 ways FB page. I've saved the photo you need to scan with the Blippar app. I've loaded the app on 4 devices and won once tonight on DH's iPad, you can enter once a day. I believe you should be going into a Maccy D's and scanning instore but this photo worked perfectly for me, although a bit grainy :)

"Use blippar (app) on this image and potentially win a £10 Amazon Voucher. It's an in-store McDonalds promotion but works with a photo as well so can be done remotely (ideal for those of us who are too lazy to go in-store). You will need a phone/tablet (with the app) + a screen to view the image. Thanks to Anon"

Did you not cut the top off the first one, you could have tried that bit before you made another. ;)

Not started ours yet but I seems to have 4 xmas cake kits that are over a year out of date. :o

We were going to do one today but Mr TS says we should double up and make a bigger cake so we didn't have enough eggs as we had a cooked breakfast this morning. I couldn't be bothered to go to the shop today. I just want to stay in the warm at the moment. :)
