    Afternoon all
Well went to make a start on the AMEX thing (first time Ive done it) and went to a PremIer grocery shop which is on the list of my local shops on the small shop offer, and asked them if they take AMEX and he said no, try the post office. So went to the post office and of course the post office counter wasn't open, only the shop bit so bottled it as not sure if the shop bit of the post office counts lol.
Will try again tomorrow. Mum wants some Christmas stamps.

Need to read back to see whats happening :D

Shop small and Post Office are two different offers - make sure that you opt in to both.

If a business is listed on Shopsmall website but does not accept your Amex as payment, contact Amex and they will credit you the £5 anyway according to previous reports :).

Thanks. Yes have contacted AMEX :) .
Yes I know they are two different offers. That's just what the PremIer man told me to do lol.
Mind you I did ask before I actually did any shopping. Are you suppose to get your shopping and then ask to pay by AMEX and if they refuse, then contact AMEX? Will soon find out I guess.

    Good morning all

Nice to read the sentiment of how lucky we are

I have claimed almost all of my cashbacks this morning as I don't want money sitting in accounts and they become like Sloppyties

Getting a list of task for DH for next he does not work in the winter

Going to a 70th party later today at a Spanish restaurant he is now very comfortable so have settled on a nice malt whisky but it does not feel enough

    Enjoy your day

I am sure he will love it, wrap it up all posh like TM does (I think she could start giving us instructions!)

Turkey crown Update - Jack F currently £12.99 for minimum weight 2kg - annoying actual weight is not indicated as some look larger than others and you cannot tell ... on balance Aldi 2.3kg for £9.79 (or whatever I said yesterday, I am not checking back! :D) is best value so far.

Unless you have spotted a better deal?

It must be annoying to have a song in your head that you don't know the words to

    Let me help, it's:

"Nellie the elephant packed her trunk and said goodbye to the circus"
