Gentle hugs, take things slow, no bending or lifting xx

Thanks AJ. think it must have been all those multipacks of Highland Water I got cheap the other night. Might be immobile but I won't go thirsty :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you are doing as you are told too :) x

Had a lovely day out and about yesterday. Started at the Lavender Farm Shop which I worked out I last visited 40 years ago:eek: Then onto Burnham Overly area for lunch at The Hoste. Lots of coastal driving to get there. Then finished off with a trip to a big christmas market. Not sure if this was in a Burnham location or Brancaster. Was a real lovely day out and I felt throughly spoilt.

Lazy morning now before my train journey home this afternoon.

You were in my neck of the woods..
Whilst at Norfolk lavender did Mr Ted visit Farmer Freds? he would have enjoyed it..
The Hoste is at Burnham Market- did you see the white twinking Christmas lights on the green?
hope you enjoyed your trip and Mr Ted wasn't too mischievous

Been to the local post office and bought £10 One4all cards on each of our amex cards. Decided that I would get my stamps at the local newagents/mini marts. Such a shame that one stop are not participating in our area this year.

I know, most of my purchases were Onestop last yqar - - I cannot see any convenience type stores this year near us, so likely won't bother. Such a shame after recent years.

Just busy looking at switching my dual fuel.
On Quidco there is £60 odd cashback for SSE. If you go to sign up to their 2 Year Fix & Shop v2 tariff, you get a £100 love2shop voucher once services are switched, and its only £50 to get out of the tariff early, seems a no brainer to join that for a month or 2.
Edit: Then you can submit a higher cash back claim as TCB is offering £69. (Well I could if the stupid site could see my transaction, as it wont let me submit it yet.)

This evening and tomorrow we have eldest son and his GF - doing Christmas dinner tonight :j as they are going home for Christmas (or rather they are going back to stay with her mum and step dad)
We may end up doing another Christmas dinner after Christmas when they get back but they still have not committed themselves to any New Year plans :)

They came up from Brum yesterday in her little Fiesta. GF had a rather massive gift for eldest son delivered here during the week, some sort of metal bit for his car. Ive wrapped it in black polythene for her and she thinks she is going to take it back down in her car :D
Eldest son has also had a huge parcel delivered here for GF which Ive gift wrapped :o
This is also supposed to go in the Fiesta :rotfl:

Neither knows that the other has had parcels delivered here :rotfl:

Went to food hall 3pm where they were giving out Xmas cake samples -- the iced bar -- SA said to take lots as they only had one left to sell so as soon as it was sold the samples were all being binned. So I did. :D

Bought meat 3 for £10 and 2 for £5 plus cooked meats rtc, spent £16, about 14 dinners and quite a few lunches there, not bad.

Till spit £5 off £50 spent in the Food Hall, valid 19 - 24 Dec (probably the worst week to go shopping)

Have you had the email yet to say you have spent the qualifying amount. The emails used to be sent out as soon as you had done the spend but I never got one earlier in the year when I used Hilton so I messaged them. I did my £10 post office spend on Thursday but no email or £5 credit yet :(
I have not had any email for the transactions I have done today....but when I registered the cards, I took screenshots, to show that I had registered for the shop small promotion, as I have had to argue in past years to get my credits.
I did the £10 spend at the post office on Thursday, and got the email confirmation through before I had even reached home.

My neck of the woods Arthien. Sadly I'm at work or could have met you for a coffee. : )

Just catching up, wonder how many posts I can get in a row...

This is DH's family's hometown so we're here fairly regularly. Hope work went quickly for you. Have you been to the market at all? £4.80 for a hot dog :eek::eek: fortunately I was good and kept it zipped for the sake of festive marital harmony ;)

    For Westie

Mr Ted was shocked to come across a photo of Trump looking at Clinton but the photo had been changed to make it look like Trump was instead leering at Clinton with sexual connotations. So shocked was he that the glasses had to go on for a better look!

I have a Little Christmas Bear who is enjoying these pictures of Mr Ted. He thinks he's got a new friend in the making :D
