Been to the local post office and bought £10 One4all cards on each of our amex cards. Decided that I would get my stamps at the local newagents/mini marts. Such a shame that one stop are not participating in our area this year.

Morning all Think it will be a NSD today as have done something to my back - hurts if lift my arms up or turn my neck  So driving out of question - typical so much to do and we have free parking in town today which I was going to avail of

Will miss my usual trip to Ws as well so no DM and coffee. So stuck at home feeling very sorry for myself - only good point is I will not be able to tackle the ironing pile :rotfl::rotfl: However might be able to sort the Fitbit I treated myself to in the Black Friday deals and connect it to my iPhone - not that I will be able to rank up many steps today even if I do manage to connect it :D

    Have a good one xx

Gentle hugs, take things slow, no bending or lifting xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Hello, Elite :j. I'm free for 10 minutes so I'm going to sit with a coffee and have a catch up :T

I managed to get shoppyprizes on my new phone the other day and have over 1000 pts already. Told DH to go to Mr Shoes and coop but he says he forgot. I want variety, he has been checking Mr A receipts and although the got £3.11 apg on one receipt the only thing on there was muller bliss 4 pack but Raspbery flavour, so thanks apg but it's wrong flavour to claim cash on it.

    Is everyone well?

This, I bet that new babe is looking gorgeous with her chubby rosy cheeks :).

    E. I noticed you said your garage doors are being fitted on Tuesday, thank goodness fir that. Get your bike out of the kitchen then :rotfl: What was the response from your DH when he found out you'd ordered one?.

Well, I had threatened to do it so he just said I hear you ordered the garage door then. He will give up one of these days :D

THAT's what I like to hear, 'bout time you started getting your own back :D

Popped into Morries on the way back from babysitting the grandkids, picked up a nice bit of beef. Now have about 5 Sunday joints in the freezer including the gammon, not entirely expensive:D

Have you had the email yet to say you have spent the qualifying amount. The emails used to be sent out as soon as you had done the spend but I never got one earlier in the year when I used Hilton so I messaged them. I did my £10 post office spend on Thursday but no email or £5 credit yet :(

Men just don't get the concept of doing a proper clean

Next to my OHs sofa is an old bookcase with glass doors and in that and on the floor wedged between it and the sofa my OH keeps his man junk, think man drawer but on a bigger scale - random bits of electronics and wire, railway and military history books, things he has printed off, batteries, socks, odd chunks of metal, a million train photos, all sorts of junk.
Ive been trying to get him to sort it for years and he has spasmodically made futile attempts but I especially wanted him to sort it out for this weekend.
So finally on Thursday he started randomly picking bits up. I started to suggest that the only way to do it was to physically empty it all out, every last bit of it. Then he could properly clean, sort and dispose.
I got my head bitten off.
    Its no better.
We really need something like a little box room so him and his sh** can go and compost in it :)

(yes I admit to small piles of my own junk but I am constantly cleaning, clearing, sorting and recycling and down sizing,I would not ask him to sort his stuff if I wasn't dealing with my own carp. My main fault at the mo is a messy mag and newspaper pile and one very bad box of old paperwork which will only take one wet day to eliminate :) )

    Not bored... annoyed with OH.

We had agreed that other than presents we will do nothing for Christmas .... no massive spring clean...... no massive decorating marathon.... but this flipping morning he has been totally focused on spring cleaning and getting decorations up for xmas day.

What makes it unbearable, is that he is responsible for all the cleaning in the house. I have had to adjust to his 'manly cleaning.'

Emptying cupboards, and moving furniture is an unknown concept to him, but he now wants to spring clean... meaning he wants me to.

He has no idea that to do it properly it will take all my free time up until after xmas... which is not what I want to do. And then he goes and watches football... but in the break he comes into the lounge saying right you have me for 10 minutes... he put the base of the tree up, and then said that I would have it finished by the end of the match... you would be proud I did not swear at him, I made another cup of tea!

If I sustain this position we will end up arguing, so I am going to empty the kitchen cupboards, clean them and re-organise them. Then I will start to catch up on paperwork.

He can do the flipping house himself. :D:D:D:D:D:D

My priority at this moment in time is to figure out Waities, and think about the small shop!
