Until recently, complimentary slippers, shower caps, combs, shoe-horns, shoe cleaner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, biscuits, glass covers, whatever the complimentary gift is and the contents of the complimentary bar (these are replenished every morning with three/four miniatures of more or less every spirit, wine and champagne, as well as soft drinks) in the room/suite.
I have been loving this as I used to be a source of embarrassment to my hubby..
In the very old days I used to pinch a dirty towel from the hall when the maids were cleaning, put it on my bathroom floor and "remove" a nice clean one to a forever home.
I don't bother now but in those days a nice fluffy white towel was a souvenir.
I also remember that we stayed in a very upmarket hotel in Spain once and the children spied through an open door the complimentary trolley, we had a "few" sewing kits, mens toiletries and other goodies much to my husbands horror .
Anyway good afternoon gang, not able to sort this damned sofa as I was the last one to have theirs delivered and its discontinued. I still cannot believe I have half a left hand and half a right hand coner suite, I havetried to get someone to physically check the warehouse but they think I am MAD ...which I feel at the mo
Once again thank you to the lovely Di you are such a sweet :A xxx0 -
I would go for a small double , single beds are a bit restricted I think. Also double bed sheets fit , there s no need to buy specialised bedding. If it was me I wouldn t use the JL vouchers if it's that much dearer. You could buy a pine on and just have drawers or nice boxes underneath. Just my view of course.:)
I agree one of my spare rooms has a small double and its a pretty metal bedframe.
Underneath there is loads of room for stack and stores as they are quite high, much more storage than the king size divan with drawers in the other one x
...and yes ordinary double sheets and duvet fit0 -

I have never been in a hotel posh enough to have a complimentary bar! Going gently green here...
Free lounge access as well, complimentary breakfasts, snacks, lunch, dinner and supper snacks which are buffet type, salads or pasta with a choice of sauces, taster plates etc. Hot and cold drinks, including wine, fizz Prosecco/Cava or the proper stuff (depending on which hotel). DGC love the strawberries dipped in chocolate. It was all very MSE.:D0 -
