Well apart from not having a cat the last 4 years , growing up always had a cat, but i think i have developed an allergy to them:o one of my customers has 2 and every thurs i have been snotty blocked nose and itchy eyes:eek: , its got to be them:o
I read somewhere yonks ago not sure how true thought that you can be allergic to other people's cats but be ok with your own you sort of build some sort of resistance.
I used to have 2 of my own that I was fine with, even slept with me but I found I used to come away from friends with itchy eyes and runny nose. To be honest I still can't see how I was ok with my own but I was...0 -
Afternoon all! Been a hectic few days for me. Interview went ok I think, I seemed to get on well with the interviewer but I'm not sure whether I've got enough experience for what they want. They said they've got a few more interviews coming up so it might be a while before they get back to me.
Mhoc, I've ordered this for my DH. Unfortunately I don't know too much about it as he actually requested it himself (a rarity for him to actually tell me what he'd like! :rotfl: ) but I bought it from Argos as it was the same price there and I think it would be less hassle to return there than Amazon. I've also ordered a microphone stick thing that works with it for £19.99, which means you can carry the microphone and use it to control the Dot, even if the Dot is in another room. DH wants to play around with it and use it to control the TV, the lights, whatever he can find. The joys of having a techie in the house :rotfl:
Yes this is the thing that worries me, if its a thing that needs extras to be bought to get the best of it. So in the end the extras cost more than the original item.
At least you had a special request that you could work with, every suggestion Ive made so far has been met with a flat 'no'
And they are not inventing new tech fast enough :rotfl:
Ive sent him a message just with the title and question mark, no response yet
Difficult choice, Ive got a good credit balance on Amazon but if I spent £100 on amazon I would get £10 back from Amex and a £10 gift card

Hiya everyonevanilla_twist wrote: »Ah a local is person to where I am going. I am getting off London train in Peterborough and wondered if the platform I get off on is waitrose side or not. Meeting friend in waitrose car park but reliably informed of far to walk. Just need to know which side of platform waitrose is.
Have already been warned not to wander off into the shop:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Any info appreciated.

You will have to take the bridge over the line to the Station Exit.
W is right next door, to the left. Just 100 yds from Station Exit to W Car Park.
Bring some sunshine with you!
There is an A just down the road too, about 400 yds.
Have a good day,
ChelseaFred:)
I see ChelseaFred has already noticed but I'll add that there is now a lift each end of the bridge to help you over. I used to have to walk the length of the platform to a bridge with a ramp, which was a long long trek, as I couldn't manage the stairs. Come out of station and turn left, you will see Waitrose ahead of youjosie_ann57 wrote: »Knorr Naturally have increased in price in sada so won't get them for 10p now. Hopefully somewhere else will have them on offer before vouchers expiry date.
Should still compare to Tesco at 60p for APG thoughMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Strange. Ive just done my recs for today and I didn't notice anything different, think I was still getting 100 per rec.
Maybe there was an update and Ive not caught up with it yet
Mine just updated now - it's been normal all day long but I was just doing a game update on my phone and SP piggy-backed onto that!“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Round-up of November targets:
FRUGAL groceries £62.96/£80 :j :j
NSD's - 16/15 :j :j
eBay £76.71/£50 :j :j
Very happy with that. The eBay profit has supplemented funds as finances not good lately, hence the need for the frugal spending
Targets for November - groceries £60 (I am with family for Christmas then at friends till New Year so no actual Christmas food costs); NSD's 15; eBay £50 and I made a start with a sale today on a buy-it-now item and 4 items finishing tonight, 3 of which have bids onMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
