Last night I found the Tesco mags online page, explained to OH I needed Ocean Soray and Alpro.
Oh sent the MOC page to the main computer fir me to print

I said this was great but I didn't want to print off everything just the 2 I needed which are Alpro and Ocean Spray

So off he toddled to the main computer with a lot of signing and tutting saying he had shown me how to do this a million times and why was I not getting it ...

Then he says its done so I check this morning and he has made a sheet with just one on, not sized correctly and the wrong Alpro :( - no Ocean Spray :(

    use 'snipping tool'

Oh dear mhoc. Maybe you should get him to write out step by step instructions so you can do it yourself? There's nothing quite like a request like that to make a man's ego swell lol.

Anyway, I am going to brave the cold and go and take that (insert various unusable words here) alarm clock back.

I think even if written out in words of half a syllable I would still struggle :rotfl:
I used to be able to do this sort of wizardry very easily when MOCs were commonplace but now all we have is the odd interesting MOC from the Mr T mag so my brain gets wiped and its a brain that only learns by constantly doing something

OH only likes to do manly tasks like in the winter cleaning and making the fire (not cleaning up the mess he leaves outside emptying coal bags) and in the summer cutting lawns, hedge trimming and willow taming (he thinks this is all gardening consists of), the very occasional mending and fixing and IT problems but only with a lot of swearing and cursing

The other 95% of daily mundane tedious tasks are my problem. His one saving grace is that he does cook dinner most nights of the week :D That and being the main bread winner :)

I have passed them onto to another person mhoc. They were able to use them without a problem.

thank you, I might go and visit PTS pages later as they have a recycling facility unless my PM box fills up in the meantime :D

  • You do not want to see the loos in Kenya, but needs must  In one case, after a (I think) a 4 hour plane ride in a small plane with no loos, we were directed to one clump of bushes for men and another one for women :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

OMG, not quite that bad in India, but looking at some of the loos we saw I would definitely prefer the bush option!

So sorry to Sarah and to you Perranlady, such hard times for you both.
My Toscies has loads of mags so happy to send you some if you wish.
That's so kind of you, I hope that sooner or later my store will have them! I was hoping to be able to print some form the magazine, but spent hours trying so copy and save without any joy. I know that some managed to produce a very good copy of the Hipp coupon, I was hoping do do the same with the Ocean Spray! But thanks once again for your generous offer x

Yes its beyond me as well and also DH has had a go but given up now. Perhaps its the duff printer as bar code clear but text just a blur. Offer open if you cant get any in future. Cost nothing as have loads of printed first class envelopes I got very cheaply in T's a few years ago.x

    Fourp is home

We went to a WI Prize Bingo last night & Fourp won 3 houses & 2 x 2 lines.
    Christmas sorted :D

Admittedly I stressed (like last year) I didn't want to win the vegetable hamper.... So he won the vegetable hamper :o
and a huge pile of Boots Royal Jelly Gift Sets. And a hamper of assorted foods
2 x Selection boxes - needed for DNs Christmas presents
    and a Celebrations tub.

When he won the vegetables the Caller - John, mentioned how I would be thrilled :o:o:o
Later when Fourp was at the bar I was offered a swop of the vegetables for a CAKE !!! hamper........
It was only when we got home & were unpacking - he asked where the vegetables were?

But we now have a homemade Christmas cake, a chocolate cake, a dozen homemade mince pies & 2 bottles of wine.
    Far better than vegetables :D:D:D
