from MSE money tips
If you drive and shop at Morrisons, its Black Friday fuel promotion is a banger. Prices may be up this year, but this trick takes the cost of unleaded at Morrisons forecourts to under £1/litre (and diesel a little over). You get 10p off per litre of petrol and diesel for every £50 you spend in store until Sun 27 Nov.
that explains it
Its a lot for a self scan shop though.
Mind you they also left a receipt in the machine and that was only for £5 ....“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Off out to move a cable this morning, no rest for the wicked
Call first to make sure it is on, used to be cancelled for out son when it was frosty and that was when they were not too concerned about injuries!
The only thing I got yesterday was a sat nav for DD's birthday/Christmas.
Exactly what happened! I arrived there to find daughter etc sitting in her car and the football coaches packing away as the ground was too hard but as the other team then arrived they decided to play the match. Gee whizz I couldn't feel my fingers & toes by the end. My dd had tried to phone me but didn't answer as driving.Traffic not as bad a s I thought it would be so that was a bonus.0 -

I have not managed to use a U&G....cannot believe it!afternoon all - I was lurking and AWOL until yesterday afternoon but i dont think I missed anything - everyone was either shopping or avoiding shopping and hiding from their computers and the zillions of Black Friday emails - I did a message rule so all of mine sent straight into the deleted bin
We have really thick solid fog which seems to be getting worse and worse. Quite often these fogs are local and 10 mikes either side of us its brilliant sunshine but OH says this is an all over version
So people living morth of us in the illustrious hights of Stoke - your weather is always worse than ours so are you under fog.
People of Chester, Wrexham and noryh Wales ate you fog bound?
People south of us in Brum are you blanketted?
I know south goes further than Birmingham but thats all i need to know :rotfl:
