  • Have any of the Elite been making the most of the Black Friday?

It has not been a very good one this year. Don't much like the new format of the Amazon BF event.

So all I bought this year was 2 x wireless XBox 1 controllers (they have a limited life in my house as DS tends to go through controllers every 4 months or so - something to do with the analog stick), the new Call of Duty game and some wireless Beats sports earphones, and a lovely hamper for my friend.

I didn't need much anyway, as most of my Christmas shopping had already been done. I was just looking for a few bits for my boy, as his birthday is just before Christmas on 13 December, so I need to cover that too. I can't believe that he will be 16 this year ..... 16!! *sigh*

    Interesting

Which cards were you able to check out with exactly?

I didn't check out as didn't want the cards so can't report it actually worked just that both went in basket.

Lovely time at IDH with N. Took things easy due to our foot problems but had a lovely wander round. Were given 2 goody bags each (our mothers could stand in long queue:rotfl: Very heavy and I seem to be a mustard short. Very rare to get drinks in bags as they prefer you to spend money. Fudge guy was lovely:D

Train home was cancelled to got one to Westfield stratford and had a wander round. My god it was packed. Is it always like that??

Anyway lovely day but feet were glad to get home.

Going to read back but think black Friday was a bit of a damp squid due to week long bargains.

I have a big red sticker on my medical file saying NO PENICILLIN as I was declared allergic as a small child. I don't suppose it's actually a sticker any more, probably just a flag somewhere in a computer system.

If anyone still has cinema codes to use up don't forget that you can book future performances before the codes expire at midnight tonight

Cineworld have also just today released tickets for Moanna next weekend if that helps anyone or you can use them for star wars/passengers

Bloomin' typical though. I missed out on Moanna because i gave my brother what i thought were spare codes and then they went and released more :(

Jackpot. My brother text back to say he's not going to use the codes afterall and could i find someone else to give them to.

The downside is i now have to pay a booking fee (i could have got them free when i was at the cinema tonight) but i'd rather pay £1 than buy 2 tickets!

    Good evening.

Anyone need value web hosting? Hostgator hacw their Black Friday sale on - 65% off for the weekend but at set hours it drops to 75% off (including until midnight). Www.hostgator.com - they are one of the largest hosts in the world.

It will get repeated tomorrow at 9am, 6pm and midnight (3am/12/6pm CST).

$1.74 per month when signing up for 36 months for a single donain, $2.49 per month for 36 months for multiple domains.

and i missed my bus and had to walk home. i used to get a taxi. but when it went up to £7 for a 3 mins drive 2 mile max. i thought fack um. ill walk
dont mind paying a reasonable fare but not going to be ripped off.
that in mind the receipt i get by email is always £1 less. my feelings is to report the large company as i have queried it many times. they say its a fault in the app.
bet the government dont know about this error.
again, dont mind paying, but not going to overpay.
now im home and one of you better have saved me money on sketchers i want.off to caatch up.
    non of you. :(

    thanks for your input nab:)
