  • I am rather annoyed with OH. I asked last week that he did not book anything in that he needed my help with. Instead I am stuck in waiting for a delivery  It is for the business and not one we can miss.

I am seriously going to shoot him.

Still, at least if I cannot pick up the Argos sat nav I can put that on fast track and pick it up next week.

But I wanted to go to the shops:(

And he was protecting his wallet by keeping you in :rotfl: clever man :rotfl:

Edited due to predictive text changing what I had typed!!

And now he is also kidnapping my laptop

I wouldn't mind, but he managed to come up with an urgent job I had to help him with last black Friday too. This pattern is going to have to stop.

    Good Morning

Hope you find your Note altojack and like it when its in your hands :)
  • Further to my last post about TV.
I researched the TV before I bought it and the price was the same everywhere and the specifications I wanted, so was happy to pay £399.00.
I have now bought myself a PS4 bundle on Amazon, slimline PS4 with 2 games, FIFA 17 and Uncharted 4 for £199.99.
    Here is my MALE reasoning....
Sold old chunky PS3 for £40
Will sell games which are trending at about a net £50.00 after fees on EBay. Will buy 2nd hand games that more suit me and a LOT cheaper.
Saved an unexpected £100 on TV, sold old TV for £20.....
So..... £199.99 less savings of £210.00 a PROFIT of £10.01

Remember this is male logic :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Won't be walking there next year at silly o'clock

So back to bed until lady turns up to collect a chair later :)
Ordered through debenhams thanks to all thank post :)

I'm sure you'll be happy with it too Josie, ds1 hadn't had his very long but no complaints from him. I had a look at his, held it pressed a few times and liked the feel of it. I'm sure I read that the casing on the sides are some type of modern metal, might be wrong, but would imagine that if I'm right any drops to the floor shouldn't cause any cracks to the casing. :D
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Further to my trials and tribulations about the Amazon Echo dot, I may possibly have a silver lining in the offing! The live chat guy said he'd stop the items in transit and get them returned to their warehouse, and he arranged a refund there and then. However, after the chat, I received an email saying something like 'sorry this order wasn't suitable, on this occasion we don't require you to return the items, you can keep them and dispose of them as you require'. Now I know this is an automated email, but what's the chances that I get the items and a refund? Wishful thinking but worth a shot eh! :D

Hope everyone gets what they want/need. If in doubt, remember the money mantras! :)

Good Morning all , a lovely sunny day here :)

Well I'm pleased to announce my tooth extraction went fine :) thank goodness so no need to visit hospital now. The lady dentist who did it was confident she could get it out even though most of it was below the gum . Bit uncomfortable but nowhere near as bad as my other one. Didn't t even need to take painkillers. Happy Susie lol
