Anyone know how I can get money off a purchase from Waitrose or Amazon for spirits, is this possible? I am after a bottle of Sipsmith V.J.O.P. Gin (Check it out TM, meant to be an excellent gin) and it seems to be £40 everywhere (or more).

Thought it was the old cellophane Lucozade bottle there my heart missed a beat :D

But will Nectar not work like Amex, where it just sees the spend at viking via your necrar card, and think you spent the £100? Guess it depends if you still get your normal spend nectar points on the gift cards.

Its worth everyone linking their cards to viking anyway, as you get 500 points for linking them

Spending £100 on £100 of giftcards won't let you checkout with the points offer in your basket though

You can only check out if you buy the ones that are (mistakenly) on the system as vatable and will cost you £120
