But you lot don't half answer quickly. I did OK but in fact that is just because I got lucky on more guess than unlucky.

No small UandG left in my teskies, so got shopmium advent calendar (free), mccain roasts (free) and CS reeses peices (50p each) from Sainsbobs instead with a few UandG to make it free (-39p each with the free voucher).

Went through self service and had a nice chat with the staff member authorizing my vouchers (past the first one that goes through without staff input), apparently at that Sains they need to authorize any vouchers that take you more than £2.50 off total, which is good to know.

Unfortunately that also cleared my sainsbobs out of UandG. Hope they restock soon or I'll have to start paying for food (!).

No advent calendar for me :(

Shopmium are doing 1 or 2 free bags of propercorn popcorn from Tesco.

If you want to claim 2 then you have to buy them on the same receipt

They can be 2 different varieties or 2 of the same

I had an excellent if slightly frustrating shop this morning. Went to Boots with two phones and got two O2 meal deals. One was for my remaining Naked juice and I'm hoping for another successful refund from Shopmummy. Then I went to Smith's and got two lovely packets of free cards, again courtesy of O2.

It got less good in M&S where the queues were so bad (everyone using 20% off) that they were giving out biscuits to keep us happy. Then it took for ever for the staff to work out how to make my credit card voucher go through but as well as ill fitting clothes I found a pair of gloves just the right colour for my coat. I turned my expiring gift voucher for £25 into one for £27.50 which lasts another year. Gloves ended up costing less than £2 so I'm happy.

It deteriorated further when I tried to return a jumper to S which had been marked at £20 on Saturday but was now scanning for £10 and they were taking 25% off too. Had been in two minds about returning the jumper so I shall keep it. I've a feeling it had somehow ended up being free anyway.

In Smith's I picked up two cards giving me £5 off wys £20 for multiple uses until 18 December but I can't think what I might want to buy in there!
  • Weather foul here, a nasty north-easterly blowing across the river and lots of heavy rain with it.

Abandoned any idea of shopping and have merely been a quarter mile to post Bay parcels. But my new loafers have had their first outing. :)

Thinking bacon, sausage, egg and black puddings tonight - comfort food. :D

we didnt get to Boots until 1 by which time the 02 offer had gone off - literally there on both of our phones when we left the house and gone by the time we were in Boots
I always check but our small Boots does not stock naked juice :(

So we did the bit of shopping in Aldi and came home to spicy carrot soup from Mr T with Aldi part bake rolls which were 39p for 4 - so we spent much less than the £2 two meal deals would have cost us

I still cant figure out what ones are the free popcorn but I think that freebie is finishing soon anyway

I also cant figure out which are the free cards from WHSmiths - hopefully some pics will appear on the dark side thread this afternoon/evening.
We are near a small WHSmiths tomorrow - so small it is actually in 2 shops almost opposite each other. Its near Neros and there are literally dozens of people who use the O2 app so i expect what cards they have will be cleared out today
